I do look at Rotten Tomatoes but I usually watch the movie anyway--hell,I Frankenstein(2015) only got 3% on RT,but there were some scenes I liked--Transformers III I loved but only 35% on RT--The worst "popular" movies I've ever seen are Moonrise Kingdom(2012) followed by Arrival(2016)--both of these movies have a 94% RT rating--hated Rogue one also and that has a 85% R/T score You loved Transformers 3, but thought Arrival should be described as "the worst"...
I, Frankenstein had some scenes you liked? I turned that movie off 20 minutes in and I rented it for FREE from the library!
Does your brain work so that when you see something good it registers as bad, and vice versa? Like as in a medical issue? Is that it?

There’s a special place in hell that plays Lady in the Water on a loop for all eternity.

I usually don't think in terms of best and worst, but one of my pics was right there on the front. Kids. Awful. Absolutely awful. Kids and Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. That was absolutely heart-stopping dog-shit. Kids was so bad, I don't think it has any redeeming quality. Batman vs Superman was 2 hours and 40 + minutes of nothing, with the two and only two redeeming qualities being Alfred's 'even you're too old to die young' line and the debut of Wonder Woman.
There's no such thing as a movie I wouldn't recommend, even the above two, because someone could see something in them that I did not, or appreciate something in them that I did not. But they're my worst.

Regarding Batman v Superman, I think the best scene was Batman saving Ma Kent. Only time I felt any excitement in the movie.
