I don't have a problem with that. But don't pretend that MCU movies are masterpieces. For example, if WB made the Wonder Woman movie with Wonder Woman fighting the German soldiers using Batarangs or fighting Ares using a Green Lantern ring, DCEU fans would complain and say that's an awful movie. But MCU makes a Spider-Man movie with Spider-Man using an AI-type suit given to him by Iron Man and MCU fans say "Best Spider-Man movie evah!".
It's like if MCU fans like to eat dog shit, I don't have a problem with that. But don't call it a piece of steak. Call it the dogshit that it is. And if MCU fans like SMH, that's OK too. But don't call it a masterpiece. Call it the piece of shit that it is.

Who made you the supreme authority on what people should call good or not, Mr. Tyrant? I'm curious, what do you make of lifelong DC fans who haven't liked the DCEU thus far and voice valid criticism? Because from where I'm sitting Wonder Woman is the only generally embraced entry to date while the rest are divisive at best. Spider-Man: Homecoming takes liberties from the source material like any other adaptation Marvel Studios has made but its designed in a way that is neither ashamed of its roots, insulting to its audience, and is legitimately entertaining movie when all is said and done - as general consensus suggests. Oh, and for the hundredth time now, Spidey has had AI suits before in the source material.

Oh dear ... looks like someone is still supremely butthurt that Spiderman got a higher percentage of positive reviews than Wonder Woman.
Imagine that. The best that DC could muster ... and a third iteration of Spiderman swings in and tops it.
DC fans have been reduced to profanity laced sniveling on the Internet. How embarrassing!

How embarrassing! oh dear, heavy shot in your own knee, pal. Seems not to be the case according to RT adjusted scores (considering that SMH just had 247 reviews while WW had 323+). Looks like SMH is on 8, while WW is on 2...how come..? Did you not learn to count? How embarrassing!
Imagine that! And SMH commercially drops like no MCU film before (62%, 50%), doing not much better tahn TASM. How embarrassing!
MCU fans have been reduced to profanity laced, uneducated sniveling on the Internet. How utterly embarrassing!
PS: I am not even a DC fan, I am just here to laugh at the beefcake-in-tights fanboy morons, and you are their uncrowned, dimwitted KING. All laugh to the King.

WW got it's rating due to the artificial boosters, that's all. Same reason the profits didn't drop either.

And thank you for your unwavering propensity for low effort thinking.

Oh dear ... you were so offended by my post that you felt compelled to dig up an "adjusted" score? Too bad the "adjusted" score doesn't change the percentage of positive reviews ... which is what the OP is so butthurt about. What's your excuse, cupcake?

What's your excuse, cupcake? no honeycup, I created an entire thread about the matter that you failed you notice. I am rather offended by your ignorance. imdb2.freeforums.net/thread/45823/where-homecoming-stands-critically
But you can make it good, pussycat: tell me what distinguishes the tomatometer from the percentage of positive reviews. The meter is defined as just that, the adjusted scores as set out in that list are the statistacally adjusted Tomatometer.
So how can the OP be butthurt about this?
No more excuses, sweetcheeks.

And the obvious answer is that WW had artificial boosters to make it look better than it was: First decent DCEU movie, no prior successful movies to judge it against, etc.

I know you are a MCU fan, but seriously, you could at least try to write something not-boiler plate, not formulaic, not obtuse, not randomly slanderous, OR at least something remotely original and fresh for ONCE. If you revert back now with one of your stale math-equation nihilisms my head will explode from eye-rolling and boredom, just like when watching MCU movies, lol.

Sorry, but you're that high on my list of priorities. And keep your meltdown to yourself. Anywho, not saying WW had artificial boosters is like saying 2+2 doesn't equal 4. It's just an objective fact. I'm sorry you're so ashamed of things that are unashamed of themselves.

And I see I must have advanced dramatically in your priority list. Btw, I think you are confusing WW with Ironman, that lazy dud had artificial boosters figuratively and literally. Not to speak of that nonsense where they inserted laser battles into a poor man's Norse mythology, uh, and into WW II and the time of the holocaust!...the unashamed infamy. If you are not ashamed of that, you are too far gone. Lol at "objective fact", learn the meaning of words and avoid pleonasms, they make you look uneducated. Ah, and you asked for it: welcome!

Who (besides you) is talking about the "statistacally adjusted Tomatometer"? The OP is butthurt because he got all excited when the number of positive reviews for Spiderman dipped a fraction of a percent below Wonder Woman. Then to his dismay, it rebounded ... and presently sits atop WW. Classic DC Fan. Do you feel stupid yet?
