Snyder was given overseer control over the DCEU. Now that he's dealing with family issues plus the fact that his movies didn't do so well, maybe DC should pull an MCU and hand over the reigns to their current most successful director: Patty Jenkins.

Yeah but Geoff Johns isn't proven yet in the DCEU. wasn't it he (and Jenkins) who spent time reworking Wonder Woman's script, the tonal shift, and he's working on WW2, not to mention Flashpoint. I think Geoff is in charge of stories and characters for now.

I guess he's better than Snyder at this point, but I'm still not convinced.

No. Matt Reeves. His storytelling is usually great and he is aces at character building.
Just keep Snyder on for the hand-to-hand stuff until the director's themselves catch on.

Geoff Johns seems to be the overseer of the DCEU at this point. It also seems like Joss Whedon to a lesser degree might be filling in for Snyder at this point.

The problem here is Patty's movie, while it did well, didn't display any sort of complex plot development that you would need from somebody in that position. That's why the Russo's got the Infinity War gig along with James Gunn. WW deserves praise for being a solid entry but nothing about it dictates that the writer/director is the right person to helm a cinematic universe. The job should go to Joss who has already proven he can weave a complex narrative from multiple franchises.
