Ok well maybe not exactly side characters but instead B-grade characters in the movies? For the longest time, any show that featured the Justice League would almost always have Superman and Batman leading and and flagship characters. But considering how positive the reaction to Wonder Woman is, should DCEU just move that spotlight over to Wonder Woman? And if they need a 2nd character to be the co-flagship character, it might be worth putting that promotional engine behind Aquaman instead, as it seems like Momoa's Aquaman will be the most fun thing in JLA.

If they have to for the time being, might as well. See how it works.

Just drop them, altogether. They've been irreparably ruined.

No. God, no. As a bigger fan of the DCEU than most, I would never watch another DCEU movie.
Never.

They are the main players in the comics, cartoons, movies, and video games. The Justice League would be nothing without them. I like the new Batman. I think we're going to get an explanation for why he kills, and it won't be pretty. I'm torn on Superman (you know my thoughts). Regardless, they still have time to make amends if you're not happy. We're four movies into a franchise that is aiming for 20+ as Marvel did. A genuine question here: if Man of Steel 2 is a success and portrays Superman exactly how you would like, will you admit it? Or if Reeves' Batman does the same? In other words, are you rooting for the DCEU to succeed eventually or do you want it to fail? Those are just questions. I'm not trying to be sarcastic. I'm not trying to be an asshole. I just wanna know your thoughts.

I just wanna know your thoughts. No, they're Pseudoman and Murderman. Actually, there are quite a few heavy hitters would easily take their places, and the League would operate just fine without them. There is nothing to like about the new Batman. He hides behind small children while ambushing their parents in a dark alleyway, just like Joe Chille did to his parents. I won't see Man of Steel 2. The very sight of Henry Cavill sickens me to my core, because he represents the butchery of a character that's survived nearly a hundred years just nice without needing Snyder's inane idea of revision. Same with Affleck. Yes, I want it to fail because of what it did to these characters. The fact Snyder thought Superman was lacking and needed to be "fixed" is a testament to that man's arrogance and ignorance.

ummm, I'd say wait for Justice League first, then if all goes well then try for a Man of Steel 2 and The Batman, observe the reception and then move from there.

Rather than get rid of them wholesale, I think they should make it kind of an anthology series like Justice League Unlimited. Don't keep it to the same group of characters while adding a new 1 each movie. Have them open up the League to a bunch of characters so they can pick whatever members they want to use for that movie. Maybe have a character that would play dispatcher to send members on missions.

Would you consider changing your mind?

No. They should continue to be centerpiece characters in the DCEU.
