The Big Bang Theory fired not one but two shots at Raiders with that famous episode where Amy ruins Indiana Jones for the guys then the guys ruin it for themselves trying to correct her. I thought the first joke was funny then the second one hilarious.

What's a plot hole in my favorite movie? Actually Star Wars itself has the biggest plot hole. Made even bigger by the story in Rogue One.
The Death Star has a port hole that leads directly to its explosive core, but no one ever saw it? Even though they knew that the Rebels had stolen the plans to the Death Star? The Empire would have had an army of architects and analysts scouring those plans to find what the Rebels were looking for!
There's even a guy that comes to Tarkin (in ANH) and says something like "we've analyzed their attack and there is some small chance of danger. Should we evacuate?" And that guy figured it out in minutes with maybe a handful of desk jockeys who were otherwise busy trying not to get killed!
But I still love that movie! lol
That's not a "Plot Hole"... Plot HoleIn fiction, a plot hole, plothole or plot error is a gap or inconsistency in a storyline that goes against the flow of logic established by the story's plot. Such inconsistencies include such things as illogical or impossible events, and statements or events that contradict earlier events in the storyline.
Function:
While many stories have unanswered questions, unlikely events or chance occurrences, a plot hole is one that is essential to the story's outcome. Plot holes are usually seen as weaknesses or flaws in a story. However, certain genres (and some media) that require or allow suspension of disbelief – especially action, comedy, fantasy, and horror – are more tolerant towards plot holes. Characters who lack common sense often create plot holes.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plot_holeThe Death Star had a design flaw. With all the external artillery and fighters protecting the Death Star, the designers didn't think any rebel fighter would ever get close enough to exploit this flaw. They were wrong. Design Flaws happen in the real world all the time. It has nothing to do with "stories". The "plot hole" is that the entire Empire didn't find the "design flaw" even though they had reason to believe the rebels were looking for one and had the means to do so.
