They guessed 7 years too young this time. (They're getting closer.). I probably threw them off by choosing Jim Carey as the best physical comedian (Peter Sellers would've been my 2nd choice) and choosing The Big Bang Theory.
They did guess right that I think Saturday Night Live peaked in the late 80s (to early 90s).

They had me at 59. I had a feeling. I'm not a fan of the newer type of comedy. I was stuck between Happy days and the Beverly hillbillies but I went with the Beverly Hillbillies. The Lucy one was tough but I went with the chocolates  I was also a little torn between Cheech and chong and the smothers brothers. I like the smothers brothers but I went with Cheech and Chong. What did everybody pick for why did the chicken cross the road? I just picked to get to the other side. I don't get that one. But somebody pointed out that Generation X'ers are tough because we all grew up with shows from the 60's to the 80's so it's hard for these quizzes to pinpoint. I believe that's what happened with the last quiz I took which wasn't all that close. Thanks again mszanadu  |

This one almost nailed it for me. Only 3 years off. Wow that's closer than I ever got on any of the quizzes. Actually 4 years off on one of them is my best. I'm curious what mszanadu got because her tastes in tv seem to be pretty diverse. |

Good morning to all here  ! You're most welcome - movielover , jayhn1111 , and marsexplorer  . I'm so very glad that all of you really liked this quiz here as well  . I agree it was actually an easy and fun one too - definitely no pressure on trying to remember " who's-who or what's-what " either LOL . As for my score - ( drum roll ... LOL ) I got the same exact score as jayhn1111 here - 59 !! Although in my case this was quite a bit off for me too . Also for some of my answers - # 1. For sitcom my choice was - ALF - It definitely was a close call between The Fonz ( Happy Days ) and Jed Clampett ( The Beverly Hillbillies ) too . # 2. The award winning comedy albums - my next choice was - Lily Tomlin ( it was the only one I ever heard before - too bad no Gilda Radner album though  ) . # 3. Taxi character - Latka - Reverend Jim was my second choice . # 4. Physical comedy actor - Buster Keaton - I'm a silent movie fan and also he was in Twilight Zone too he was quite a legend . # 5. Funny Lucy moment - " Vitameatavegemin " - that one never gets old for me LOL . # 6. Funniest Cartoon Dog - Astro - my second choice Scooby Doo . # 7. Funniest movie of all - Airplane - my second choice Young Frankenstein . # 8. The " Comedy duo " - my choice - Bob and Doug McKenzie - not big for the choices on the list there . # 9. "Why did the chicken cross the road?" - To get to the other side - was my answer here . AND FINALLY ... # 10. " Three Stooges funny ? " my answer - " Eh, sometimes ? " - good for a few chuckles maybe . So there it is folks that was my answers there . Thanks so much to all here for your replies too . |

This time I got 43, about 18 years older than my actual age. Lol. They say I probably think SNL peaked in the 80s, but I actually prefer the 90s/early 00s.
