The 2 shows that I am watching on Freeform this summer are "Shadowhunters" and "Stitchers". Stitchers has gone way down in quality since season 1 IMO (now in season 3) but Shadowhunters, now in season 2, has gone up somewhat in quality.
Neither of these shows is a masterpiece by any means. Does anyone else here watch them?

I love the Shadownhunter books series, so when i first heard about the film, i was excited, then quickly disappointed, but i continued to enjoy the books, then heard about the TV show and i was a little hesitant about it, but from what i heard, it sounded like the people behind it (the same who did the film) genuinely learned from the mistakes of the movie
But i was so disappointed with season 1 of shadowhunters, it was good in places and a couple of the cast saved it a little bit, but yeah, massively disappointed in season 1 for so many reasons, but i stuck with it and even though i was disappointed, there was an increase in quality as the 1st season progressed, so i decided to give season 2 a chance
And while it still has a couple of issues, the main one for me, is how much it deviates from the books and the changes to certain stuff (but that's a personal thing and someone who hasn't read the books wouldn't experience that) the acting in particular has improved a lot all round, the cast seemed to have grown into the roles well, even the actress playing Clary, who was really weak in season 1, has improved so much and you have to give her credit for that
So yeah, for me, Shadowhunters was a huge disappointment at first and the first season is a struggle, but if you can get past that, then season 2 and beyond is looking very good
Honestly, after season 1, i was sure it would get cancelled, now having watched most of season 2, i can see it going for a number of years to come (i hope i didn't just curse it, lol)

Overall, I'm enjoying Shadowhunters. There are parts that I don't like but that is true of almost any TV show. So I will stick with it if it has a 3rd season. I fully expect that it will be renewed. Freeform needs this show.
