Nah, it just had artificial boosters to make it look like it was more than a mediocre film. That and it basically just emulated MCU's style of doing things. No, MCU's style is to treat war and people getting injured or killed as a big joke. Wonder Woman is the 1st CBM to show the horrors of war without turning it into a big joke, like MCU movies always do. You mean like how in Jessica Jones we see a woman who is still shell shocked from the events of The Incident from The Avengers and wants to dispose of Jessica because she has super powers and therefore is "one of them"? Or in Iron Fist where we find out that a lot of people lost their homes, families, and became mentally unstable after the Chitauri invasion? Or how in Daredevil season one a huge subplot was about how everyone was trying to move on and rebuild their part of NYC after The Incident, in addition to getting on with their lives and finding their place in this new world of superheroes? Or how Hulk causes so much destruction in Age of Ultron after being manipulated by Scarlet Witch? Or how in Age of Ultron Quicksilver sacrifices himself to save Hawkeye and dies? Or how in Civil War a mistake caused by Scarlet Witch leads the deaths of innocents and thus creates the Sokovia accords? Throughout the entire film she feels nothing but guilt about what transpired. Or how in Civil War we meet a woman who tells Tony Stark that she lost her son during Ultron's invasion of Sokovia? Or how in Civil War we discover that Zemo's motivation to try and pin the heroes against one another was because he lost his wife and child during Ultron's invasion of Sokovia? Or how the Sokovia accords has brought into Agents of SHIELD and the inhumans? Speaking of which, how can we forget about their dealings with HYDRA and how Captain America: Winter Soldier kicked it all off( But if you want to get technical The First Avenger as it introduces HYDRA)? Lots of twists, turns, and betrayal. Lets even touch base on the MCU before The Avengers, and note how Thor's actions create a war between Jutonheim and Asgard and he gets sent to Earth and becomes unworthy of his title and hammer. And that Loki decides to make matters worse when power gets to his head and he tries to dispose of Thor and use the bifrost to destroy Jutonheim? What about Iron Man when Tony Stark finally sees the harm his weapons manufacturing has done which convinces him to don the armor? You are absolutely right, Marvel treats war as just a giant joke, forget about what all those characters went through and how the events are viewed in the grander scheme of things, because there is a bit humorous banter between the players in lighter parts of the battle therefore its all a joke fest, no different than a Wayne's World, Austin Powers, or Hangover.

I guess it all depends if at the end of the year we can name 10 movies that the Academy is more likely to nominate than Wonder Woman. Of the movies that have come out and are yet to be released, I can think of: Dunkirk Get Out The Big Sick Detroit Mother! The Disaster Artist Darkest Hour American Made Now I've only seen Dunkirk, Get Out, and The Big Sick. The other ones I added due to buzz, reviews, and/or the talent involved. So my guesses could be wildly inaccurate. Any other movies you guys can think of besides Wonder Woman? Dunkirk, Detroit, and Darkest Hour are the only movies on that list that I've heard of. Those are 3 movies that certainly have a good chance of getting a Best Picture nomination. I think The Greatest Showman might also have a chance. Never heard of Get Out? Its one of this year's most talked about releases...

Iron Man(2008) has a higher percentage on that list than Wonder Woman, therefore it is not better than all MCU movies as you claim it to be. Secondly, using RT won't win you any arguments because the percentage can drop or get higher over-time, same as it is with IMDb prime's rating system. It is also hypocritical for you to use RT to support your argument when all prior DCEU films( MOS, BvS, Suicide Squad) are scored as rotten and therefore worse than any MCU movie by your logic.

Iron Man(2008) has a higher percentage on that list than Wonder Woman, therefore it is not better than all MCU movies as you claim it to be. The list of 50 Best Superhero Movies of All-Time is ranked by adjusted score, which is a more accurate measurement. It's similar to how IMDb uses weighted vote averages rather than raw data averages. using RT won't win you any arguments because the percentage can drop or get higher over-time And the list of 50 Best Superhero Movies of All-Time is automatically adjusted when the ratings drop or get higher over time. When Wonder Woman first appeared on the list, it was at #3. As its ratings continued to go up, it's now moved up to #2.

When that happens will you still stand by your word or adjust it to fit the review percentage?
