First off..it makes no sense that he even has a cape. He can fly regardless..it serves no practical purpose like Batmans cape. Also..It's such an Aristocratic thing to wear. The Only people that wear capes are like Dukes and Barons Superman doesn't strike me as that fancy a guy. It serves no purpose. Also. He only had one suit , right? How did it keep growing as he grew? Ok. Maybe it's a special Alien fabric. Fair enough. So HOW can it not leave a bulge under his Clark Kent clothes? Does the Alien fabric automatically compress too? Not even to mentions the boots.

In the pre-"Crisis" DC Universe, Superman's cape (in fact, his whole costume) was made from Kryptonian cloth. Like Superman, it was indestructible. On some occasions, he would wrap Lois or Jimmy in it to protect them from something dangerous. Also, initially, it used to only come down to the back of Superman's knees. In the Henry Cavill movies, it seems to come down to his ankles like Batman's. I prefer it at his knees. Also, in the current DCU, it was revealed that his costume was no longer indestructible unless it was right up against Superman's body. This would "protect" the costume, but not the cape. Martha would have to make him a new cape practically every issue.

Repeat to yourself, "It's just a comic book, I should really just relax."

It's a fashion statement.

Superman and Batman's rivalry clearly includes "cape envy".

I think the cape was a visual aid in the comics to make motion easier to depict.

So HOW can it not leave a bulge under his Clark Kent clothes? I think you might be staring at the wrong spot.

Like, I'm no homo but they make chicks with big ass tits(powergirl)....(drool) mmmm powergirl....yet all the dudes have like no package? I know if I was in spandex saving the city flying around my balls would get there before I would. C'mon comics! We need a Big dick swinging, ass kicking, woman laying, beer chugging, fight ending bad ass! A man's man! Dressed in flannel and with an axe! That's the hero for our times

Isn't it what he was wrapped in as a baby when he was sent here? Maybe he keeps it as a keepsake.

It's odd that your thought process went straight to a diaper. Does that mean you have shit for brains or do your parents wrap you in a diaper?

I think General Ripper found out about your preversion, and that you were organizing some kind of mutiny of preverts.
