Let's say for the sake of argument that Hulk will be written out of the franchise in Avengers 4. How do you end his story in a satisfying way?
1) He could die. But as I understand it, he's basically immortal. And killing him in some contrived way just seems to convenient.
2) They could "cure" him. Apparently Thanos can alter reality? Maybe Bruce's past is changed and he loses his alter ego, and when The Avengers attempt to reverse things, Banner objects, ultimately deciding to remain normal.
3) He lets go of Banner and decides to live as Hulk permanently.
I think option 3 is the best.
What say you? Are there any other options you'd rather see?

A grey hulk perhaps which is a perfect hybrid between them and thus he doesn't calm or get angry and can never change again.

What about a perfect hybrid between you and someone who doesn't literally gratify himself to MCU movies?

Oo, so rocket harvests thousands of seed pods off of groot and ant-man shrinks Hulk and all of the seeds. Hulk lives out the rest of his days fighting off greedy grasshoppers and scrappy centipedes where he can't do real substantial damage to the outside world and during this time, farms an army of groot growths to protect the earth when the next mega threat comes. And come it does...oh, I guess that's not really the end then. Well, shit, it still sounds like a great western.

The guy who got knocked out by a jet ski wave on baywatch? I'd be afraid of him getting shredded by a weedwhacker. jk Obviously I'm referring to the MCU/pro wrestling merger in universe 1995.

Hangs himself being being Hulk is too depressing.

Hangs himself being being Hulk is too depressing. Like, symbolically, right before going to a rave in an abandoned jarritos bottling plant and doing pcp?

^Better than the last ten MCU movies combined. It'd be killer if they made a mashup film like SLC Hulk or Requiem for a Banner or Greenspotting. I'd watch that.
