The Avengers was a fun movie about a bunch of knucklehead superheroes coming together to stop a bunch of N64 graphics evil aliens with no motivation. That's all fine and good. I'm a fan. But Justice League will be SO much more emotionally resonant. A world without hope that finally realizes that Superman was their hero and protector. A crotchety old vigilante with a new outlook on life and a beautiful warrior-princess trying to put together a team of n00b superheroes to honor Superman. And the triumphant return of the Man of Steel to a world that is finally ready to embrace him. It's gonna be YYYUUUGGGEEE! DC is #1. Congrats to Justice League for already being better than The Avengers!  |

But the plot of Justice League will be similair to Avengers. Aliens attack earth, and a superhero-team tries to stop the invasion. Dont see any difference.

The Avengers had N64 graphics and looked like a TV movie. Justice League has at least PS4 graphics and looks like a cinematic experience. The Avengers had no emotional core. It was all about punches and kicks. Justice League is anchored in Superman's tragic death and triumphant return. It completes Superman's three-story "birth/death/resurrection" arc. It's gonna be TITS. |

While I am psyched to see a Citizen Kane gif and hope you are right with JL, I politely point out the fact that Kane in that scene forcefully claps at his untalented opera aria singing girlfriend, who just completely failed at that, but Kane (an idealized Trump figure) will not have it.... |
