Moderate. Both sides have their good points and both sides have places where they're just shouting complete bullcrap.

European moderate, but translated into right-leaning US-politics that would be liberal for the most part. Except that I seem to be fiscally conservative because I still want my 10 Dollars with default interest from @weirdraptor.

If I have to choose, than I pick moderate. But let the record show that I fucking hate both conservatives and liberals.

I'm a social liberal, meaning people are people, we all evolved and lived together and we should strive to design a society that we would want to live in regardless of what gender, race, age, income level, etc we were. People are people, and I love meeting people who are different because it's a chance to get to experience something that I will never know first hand. I love diversity, whether it's cultural, age, racial, or anything else.
I'm a fiscal conservative, meaning you should grow up with the mindset that you have to earn your way in life. You should want to work, to pay your own way and that spending more than you make is a bad financial plan. Creating social assistance programs in general always goes too far (see social security), although some of theses programs are fine as long as there are rules about how much you can use, and we don't allow people to abuse the system to live off what everybody else provides them. Everybody needs to contribute to society, not to take advantage of systems that others provide them.
So for specific examples, I loved Obamas stance on most social policies from promoting women to gay marriage, etc. I hated his stance on health care where he verbally acknowledge he wants a single payer health care system. A single payer system is basically handing a monopoly of the healthcare industry over to the government. You wouldn't hand a monopoly over to a company. All this will lead to is a complete lack of control or choice and you'll wind up with rationing or denial of care that you will have no options for.

You posted the longest and most thoughtful response in this thread. Thanks, buddy. (And because I can't help myself: couldn't one argue that, since single payer costs far less and produces better results, it would have to be the "fiscally conservative" option on health care? I'm not an expert or anything, but it seems like every other first world country apart from the US has some version of a single-payer system that keeps costs down for everybody while ours are exploding at a rate that threatens systemic collapse -- or at least serious problems.)

Spot on Colden, not just first world countries. Our fiscal conservative here has evidently no idea what he is talking about. I am inter alia specialized in life sciences & healthcare (as a lawyer not HCP). Here in continental Europe the pricing & reimbursement systems for Rx medicinal products, medical devises and other health industry products works very well this way (often mixed systems), and - nearly - covers everyone. Depending on the country many social security carriers even have surpluses. No system is perfect, but everything is better than that embarrassing US incapability to install a proper healthcare system for it's population, the laughing stock of the civilized world. Ask our fiscal conservative about the American opiate junkies epidemic or the splendid US infrastructure, bet he finds it as marvelous as Marvel too.

Are we talking politics or your attitude in general? I meant politics. But you could respond to both if they're opposed, like if you're very conservative politically but very liberal with, say, ketchup on your burgers.

You're obviously a Separatist, because you feel The Old republic hasn't been able to meet the needs of most of the planets in the galaxy.

Damn, dude. That's tough. This sounds like a bullshit cop-out, but it's honestly not: moderate? You're pretty even handed around here.
