What was your last dream about?

Had a small? series of scenes about my college girlfriend was now my wife. The only thing I recall was me trying to explain some kind of compromising situation I got into. The only answers and the truth were stereotypical sitcom explanations.

Next I recall 3 scenes or events that I think may have been connected. The main scene seemed to be a fancy party of some kind. I'm not sure if the party was one I was hosting or if I was just attending.

Next there were some street scenes after the party, or maybe before, where I was being chased by three or four guys who were bullying me, about what I don't know. I managed to get the upper hand on them in some strange way by strange events.

Finally a totally bizarre scene. I coworker from real life and I were at the party talking about all sorts of things. Then we were in a room where there was a problem with something on the ceiling, my coworker got on a ladder or step tool to fix it. He was talking about something I don't recall what while changing a light or unplugging something, then while he was in mid sentence there was a big flash of light with some kind of explosion. He was pushed back some and then suspended frozen in place. I was pushed back by the "explosion" and saw that he was frozen in place. In fact I said out load that he was frozen. Someone came by and I told them to call nine-one-one. I started to take my cell phone out to dial 911 also, but didn't know how I would explain the emergency. Next I was in another room at the party wondering what caused the bizarre flash freeze. I asked one of the ladies who was hosting the party for an update and she said that he had been cut down and she said some technical mumbo jumbo about the cause of the flash that I didn't understand.

I recall something about being at some modern campsite housing hotel. I got to the common sleeping quarters before most everyone else and put my backpack in my claimed spot. It was a large room that had no furnature, except for maybe an occasional bench. The room was round or oval and was designed to have about 6 people lying along the wall. When I returned to the room the other people who were going to sleep there that night were there. Some guy in the spot to the left of my spot had his stuff in my area and when I got there he moved his stuff to his area. I had to do a little sweep of the area because of trash and debrise from others who were slobs. There was soe scene about going to where someone was using the shower so I had to do something else. When going back to the common area a group of young men who I supposedly knew of were arriving. They were going to film some documentary of the surrounding area and someone ask them if they were really going to call it "The Empty Woods" or some suche thing like that.

I don't know if this was part of the same dream but a friend of mine, who in real life has been dead for 14 years was mentioning a popular entertainment center in my general metropolitan area that is some distance from me, but he was suggesting that I was close to it. To suggest that I go there for some upcoming event.

Pretty wild dream in some ways visually some of it was so detailed I can't even begin to describe them. So the dream. For some reason I was going to my childhood home during lunch. My mother was going to be out but I went there anyway, I think mostly just to eat lunch. Every bit of this is weird to begin with. Anyway the details of the house were drastically different than the house was in anyway in reality. When I went inside there were a bunch of teenagers there that were supposdedly the kids of my nephew and a huge lot of their friends. In reality my nephew is single w/ no kids. When I got to the kitchen, which looked like a kitchen from anywhere from the 1980s to today, there were about 6 of the teens sitting at tables and desks playing a form of Dungeons & Dragons, There was barely any room for met to get past some of them to attempt to get anything to eat. I'm not sure if I got anything to eat. Next the room that had been the dining room, or maybe it had been the living room? Had a couple of cumfy chairs and a chair and desk work station that my mom had set up since the "last" time I had been there when it didn't have the work station. Next I went to a room that was supposed to be the bedroom of a son of someone in the family. At this point it didn't matter if anybody was a relative or not, people were coming and going. This bedroom was small, actually it was more like a closet sized area in a common room but was set up like a typical bedroom. I explored other areas including a long hallway with nice wooden floors and possibly a ballroom. Then I went back to the front room, living room and entry way. I was on a stairway that was then an escalator. The front door was now a glass door and the front of the house was a glass panel and was now part of some big shopping mall. The rest of the dream had lots of bright lights, digital displays and ultra modern and futuristic looking things. Even te streets had bright color lights all over and street signs were in big light displays. I was now outside an the area of town was a different area than the house was originally supposed to be. I started loooking to find where I had parked my car and couldn't find the parking lot or street where I had parked. Many of the streets looked like the Vegas strip with all the neon and other types of brighly colored lights, others looked like pinball machine lights and 198s and 90s video games about street life. Oh at one time while I was in the house. I think in one of the bedrooms my Uncle called from my Brother's house and asked a question, or gave some sort of advice or warning I forget what it was he said. I think that was all.

Not my last dream, but a dream from about a week ago. At the doctor's office. Late at night (later than any doctor's office will actually be open.) Waiting for my turn, I'm apparently the last patient of the night. At some point, I realize there are other people in the waiting room watching a TV, where there's a Christmas countdown. (Like a New Year countdown, but to ring in Christmas.) Nurse comes back to tell me it's finally my time to be seen, but she tells me I have to go out of waiting room to another office space to see the doctor there. I'm confused, but I go anyway. In this new space, there are other people waiting to be seen. (Apparently, I'm not the last patient of the night.) The details have been lost a bit, but somehow I realize that the people here are being called back and being killed. I make a run for it, first escaping outside and then getting back into the building and going to the first office space where the people are still watching TV and waiting for the countdown to Christmas. I try telling the what's going on in the other office. I don't remember what happened after that.

Another longish dream with lots of details. I was in a play or musical playing a cop, one of two cop characters in the production. I don't remember what the show was supposed to be. The stage was in a large arena or big lecture hall. I recall that for this particular performance my parents were in the audience. I headed offstage and started walking around some areas that were hiden by the audience but while there I could see part of the audience. Here is were things get sort of weird. Technically I was still "backstage" but the areas and locations were not part of any theatre. I was walking in a glass enclosed hallway like a hallway at an airport. Next I am heading the other dirrection and am on a susspension bridge that appears to be heading into New YYork City, the bridge in dream-like subtle fasion morphs into a park with a large fancy fountain in an area with a large glass structure that is part of the fountain or the park's sidewalk. All of this was supposedly still in the theatre area and at times I could check in on the audience. Yet at the same time it had the feeling of being outiside in a big city.

Some people may wonder why I have so many theatre based dreams. I used to do commuinity theater with the occasional professional theatre. I don't actively do it anymore been 13 years since the last production I worked on (I directed a production of "The Odd Couple" fun show) and to be honest haven't seen a "live" show in over 5 years and it has been about 6 or 7 years since the last time I auditioned for anything. The biggest reason is the horrible traffic here in the Maryland Suburbs of DC. I work in SE DC so getting anywhere on time for auditins o9r rehearsals is very difficult.
During the pandemic I only watched a handful of Zoom Shows, didn't participate/work in/on any. Also some of the theatre companies are still operating as if the pandemic is still around with their strictness for masking up for auditions (sometimes rehearsals) and insisting on "Full" vaccination for all performers and crew. I'm vaccinated to the point that I had the two standard regular COVID shots, but I haven't bothered with all the boosting. They require the up-to-date boosters to be considered "Fully Vacinated".

I was Christmas shopping with my mother, my sister, my brother and my sister-in-law (the wife of my other brother, not of the one who was in the dream). She doesn't get along very well with my mother and my sister in real life, so there was some tension there.

At first we were in a store that according to my sister used to be an airplane store. I remembered the airplane store from years earlier, but I wasn't sure it was the same store, since there were hardly any airplane-related items for sale there.

Then we went out and the whole place was a huge outdoor mall. I was surprised, because I had no idea the place had been developed so much since the last time I was there.

I was always on edge worrying about the interactions between my sister and my mother on one side, and my sister-in-law on the other, but fortunately nothing happened.

Is it strange that I don't dream? At least when I'm sleeping lol

One of those times where I woke up from dreaming with the feeling that I had a most wonderful dream, but can't remember anything about it. I seem to recall something about buttoning a shirt or having the shirt already on with the buttons uneven like when a kid tries to button their shirt on their own and the shirt is buttoned unevenly and one side is longer than the other.

I had a dream I ran into an old friend from high school (from California) here in Pennsylvania.

And we decided to hang out for a bit until she had to catch a train back to the airport to home
