It depends on what genre(s) you prefer.
Since I'm into traditional heavy metal, I'd say the 1980s, 2000s, and 2010s are the best decades. In fact, I mentally group the 2000s and 2010s into the "twenty-first century" and treat them like an extra long decade.

While I could try some sort of number crunching to find which decade has most of my favorite albums, I think I'd just rather say that I have no favorite and every decade has delivered many great albums for me to enjoy.

The final day for my newest favorite singer, Steve Sanders of the Oak Ridge Boys that is, took place in 1998 and so to me, what came from him before then is what makes the decade so special, I love him so much.  God bless you and his family always!!! Holly |
