I predict this is the year Eli officially hits the wall - and the fanbase is furious they didn't go after a QB in the first round last year.
Week 6 or so people will be questioning if Geno Smith should get a start (and that's bad).
I get they nabbed Webb in the 3rd - but seeing Eli's getting up there in age - I would have tried to move up in the first to grab Watson.

Watson may turn out to be just fine, but Webb may as well. I, as anyone else, don't have a clue how these guys will perform. It's fascinating to look back and see how early/late these QB's were taken. A few come to mind... Ones that turned out okay (round): Tom Brady (6) Drew Brees (2) Andy Dalton (2) Dave Krieg (UD) Kurt Warner (UD) Tony Romo (UD) Neil Lomax (2) Wade Wilson (8) Ones that did not: Ryan Leaf (1) David Klingler (1) Andre Ware (1) Cade McNown (1) Akili Smith (1) JaMarcus Russell (1) Art Schlichter (1) Tim Couch (1) Jim Druckenmiller (1) Jason Campbell (1) Matt Leinart (1) Vince Young (1) Dan McGwire (1) Rick Mirer (1) Heath Shuler (1)

ANOTHER losing record for the Eagles? Sounds right to me.

ANOTHER losing record for the Eagles? Sounds right to me. I'm going 9-7 and they nab a wildcard spot the last week of the year by knocking off the Cowgirls. Wentz and Co. steal one game in the playoffs. Secondary is still weak and a concern. Intrigued by the running back situation too. Sproles is old. Hoping Pumphrey is the next 'Sproles' - dude is so little though - looks like if he gets tagged his career could be over - kind of like a 'kia' car getting blindsided by a SUV.

i'm loving the world's respect for Tampa Bay and Jameis Winston this year.
nice to see the kid proved doubters wrong and is on the right path (despite that little mishap talking to kids about being a man)
reminds me of when another college kid from the sunshine state - Warren Sapp received a ton of bad press coming out of college - and look how his NFL career turned out.
be nice to hopefully see the Bucs back on top of that Division..............

The OP is underestimating the Dallas Cowboys as out of the playoffs, when power rankings put them in the top 5 or even top 3 teams this season. This is one example but I've seen many others: link

Power rankings? Seriously? Isn't that basically the equivalent of the AP college preseason poll? X University is preseason #3 and they end up 7-5 and in the Independence Bowl.

To a certain degree, but I think it is a bit too much to predict that the Cowboys won't make the playoffs. They are a good team.

Four losses for New England? Doubtful. I don't think they go perfect, either.

The Cowboys hit lightning in a bottle last season and also were extremely lucky. The rest of the division improved and they haven't. They have a much tougher schedule. They will miss the playoffs this season. I fins it funny that so many Cowboys fans predict a Super Bowl from a team that has won two playoff games in 20 years. They had 4 wins the year before and a slew of years at 8-8. On the other hand, the Eagles have improved more than any other team in the NFL. They are in a very likely position of having a top 5 offensive and defensive line. They dramatically improved their receivers and may now actually have a running game. They are a lock for the playoffs.
Everyone is penciling in Cleveland for another terrible season. The funny thing is that they are probably better than the Ravens and the Bengals this year. They have a great offensive line and have improved their defense. The Vegas odds are like 50-1 on the Browns winning their division. I might seriously take that bet. Sure, I would pick the Steelers, but I like the odds.

New England 31 - Tampa Bay 24 I think the Bucs are going to rock this year... but it's too early for a Super Bowl berth just yet.

I'm no expert, but if the Chargers go 6-10 it will be a miracle. I'll predict the Cowboys miss the finals too, but the NFC East will be extremely close and competitive. The NFC West will also be extremely close, but none of them will be competitive. Arizona or Seattle might make the playoffs with a 9-7 or even 8-8 record. Fearless predictions.......
