I've been watching him on the mid-south dvd's. legend. icon. from stories and shoots - truly a good guy who WWF may have taken advantage of. sad what happened to him. that being said - i can't believe he was going over Von Erich in Von Erich's last days before he died in WWF. and when he came back 2005 or so and Umaga squashed him - I get putting somebody over and building a beast - but it was just disrespectful to the legend of Kamala in my eyes. think he may have been squashed by Yokozuna too. i never liked the way WWE did some guys dirty - ala the above with Kamala jobbing and getting squashed, but also Barry Windham and Von Erich too - all legends. back to props: Road Warriors and their spiked football shoulder pads............

Yeah I think I remember something about how he was working main events and really not getting paid nearly as well as he should. I remember he went around the horn with Andre the giant and I believe Hogan I remember. The 2005 stuff doesn't surprise me. I think it always gave Vince a huge erection to bury and completely humiliate old time stars.

I'm considering 'animals' props for the sake of this thread. What 'prop' enhanced a character 10 times over - added to their 'persona' or elaborate entrance and was part of their personality. I'm going with Jake Roberts - Snakes........ Go! As a Canadian I gotta go with Jacques Rougeau's aka The Mountie's portable electric chair cattle prod.

Bret Hart's 'shades' he would hand off to little kids in the front row when he made his entrance........

If you want to go down that route you could go with whatever foreign object Abdullah the Butcher was using on a given night as he was a Canadian too, not many know that.
