I bet Aquaman will make good money. Probably $500 million-$600 million worldwide when it's all said and done.
I think the Bumblebee movie is going to lose some business.

So.......is Paramount trying to hobble their box office? Because they could aim for another day.

Outside of dedicated DC fans, is anybody particularly interested in Aquaman? I honestly don't think so.

Mary Poppins, too. 2018 is going to be an... interesting Christmas as the cinema.

Well I'm definitely supporting Aquaman over Bumblebee.

WWE Armagedden - Main Event: John Cena vs Jason Mamoa, with special guest referee Dwayne Johnson.

I think Aquaman will perform better than GotG, Doctor Strange, and Deadpool. 1st, it won't be Aquaman's 1st movie appearance. He'll be coming off of his appearance in Justice League, just like Wonder Woman came off of her appearance in BvS. 2nd, Jason Mamoa is popular because of his work on Game of Thrones and James Wan is also popular because of his work on the Fast and Furious movies.

I agree. But that doesn't answer the question I asked which was why you think Aquaman is making over 700?

Both will have success but I think interest will be higher for Aquaman and learning more about him than for Bumblebee who has had highlighted spots in basically all the Transformer flicks and whose story is essentially the same as the other Autobots.

It depends on things like reception, and whether or not the audiences find the unique premise of a film that prominently take some place underwater to be appealing enough.

I know, but that still doesn't answer the question of why anybody would think Aquaman clears 700 if Strange didn't.

Agreed. Also, Aquaman takes place underwater so that's something that makes it different from most movies and different from every previous superhero movie.
