Might watch the Bumblebee movie because Micheal Bay isn't directing anymore.
I mean they got the director of one of the most underrated animated movies of all time "Kubo and the Two Strings".
Then again I'm interested in what James Wan does with Aquaman.

Outside of dedicated DC fans, is anybody particularly interested in Aquaman? I honestly don't think so. And who the devil asked for a Bumblebee spin-off? Probably because he's a popular character, when people think of Transformers now its usually him or Optimus Prime that spring to mind hence they're usually on every poster. Bumblebee is also a character who, based on the movies, has been around on Earth for some time so they can make a movie for cheap( by Hollywood blockbuster standards).

One or the other will move, which one will time will tell. I figure if Justice League is the financial success WB is looking for they'll probably bump the release of Aquaman a few weeks to late November.
Which one will make more depends on word of the mouth, the DCEU has rekindled interest in it with Wonder Woman so it will depend on how Justice League turns out and if its a win or a disappointment. Even so, the visual scope of Aquaman hasn't really been done before so it will present something newer to the table and James Wan's track record is usually pretty solid so reviews may lean towards it.
The recent Transformers film took a nose-dive in box office compared to previous installments, so if Paramount wishes this franchise to continue Bumblebee needs to get butts in theaters. They've got a different director on board who's had lots of critical success under LAIKA animation studios with a script re-written by Kelly Fremon Craig( Edge of Seventeen) with what is said to be a more "focused" story so it could pull an Annabelle/Ouija situation where a prequel/follow-up fairs better than its predecessor(s), or in this case since its DC, a Wonder Woman. Budget for it is really small( Like in the 70 millions) so it should have an easier time making its money back.

Just a fun fact I'd share but the director of Kubo actually used to rap for a living, I am not kidding, www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y14dDzGPFbsGood thing he decidedly shifted careers to animation.

His Dad also owns NIKE, a company producer M. Bay did ads for so that was a connection that proved its worth.

Come on now. $700 million at least I'm not sure about that. Doctor Strange did 677. It's not like the general public is just itching for Aquaman. Um, we have no previews or big images out yet or any kind of marketing. So it’s too soon to say that. I’m sure you said the same thing about Wonder Woman too.

Duh. you said "at least" based on what? WW didn't get that far and it's a run away success. so why "at least"?

I literally just explained to you why. Most people expected WW to make between $600m-750m and it passes that so it doesn’t if it’s a run away success. It’s still succeeding.

Which didn't explain anything because as I literally just explained WW had factors contributing to that which Aquaman won't have. So again, why is it "at least" when WW hasn't gotten to 8 even with those advantages?

I guess if I would’ve said $600 million, we wouldn’t be having this conversation right now.

And I literally explained that WW had several factors aiding it's success that Aquaman doesn't have like being the first remotely decent DC film, getting a lot of pub as a strong female super hero film, etc.
So given that a relative unknown like Dr Strange didn't quite get to 700, and even Spidey just got over it, where do you think Aquaman's advantage lies?
I'm asking you how you came to that conclusion and you're avoiding the question.

It doesn’t matter. If the film wasn’t that good, it would’ve made less anyway. I answered your question, you just don’t wanna accept it because you don’t want the film to succeed. So 700 is a lot for you to handle apparently when that’s actually decent. That explains why you can’t get over my little prediction. Dr. Strange isn’t even better than WW in my opinion anyway so that doesn’t matter either.

Scroll up and read I did, but all you said was WW did better than expected. How did you determine that translates to Aquaman? You haven't explained that yet.
