Madmen - maybe it's good. Idk. I'd like to think I have a decent enough attention span to understand a good story and whatnot but for whatever reason I just couldn't get into this show. I was bored from almost instantly.
Better Call Saul- it's just not that good of a show. People claim it has this " crime noir" theme to it. It's " cutting edge " ..NO. It's not actually. It's mediocore at best. The character of Jimmy ..aka Saul, was better in small doses..also he's better as full blown SAUL. Jimmy really just isn't that interesting. It's the most overhyped show ever. ( in recent years anyways )
The Blacklist. - I tried getting into this show because I like James Spader..and it's good ..for about 4-5 episodes. Then u realize that every episode is pretty much the same. Classic Network TV..my bad for thinking it was anything else
Mr Robot- i was instantly hooked on this show. I binged the first season in a few days. Slowly it started getting worse. The first 5-6 eps of the first season are as good as anything I'd seen in recent years. Then they started to " Fight Club " it ..sigh...that was the slippery slope that ruined it for me.
Outlander- if I wanted to watch Soft Porn, I'd subscribe to Cinemax... that , and the story is absurd. It plays like a cheap paperback romance novel on screen

I agree with four out of five of those. I actually like Outlander. I watched the first season of Mad Men twice. Could never get into it. Sure, it is written and acted well, but it is seriously about nothing. Better Call Saul is an average show. There, I said it. It gets called a masterpiece and compared with Breaking Bad, which is a joke to me. The Blacklist is typical network TV. I watched the first season and some of the second, but like most network shows, it has no where to go. I also couldn't agree more about Mr. Robot. The first 5-6 episodes or so were fantastic. Then the show went downhill and never recovered.

The Sopranos. I didn't hate it, but just never felt like I wanted to watch it.

The Wire. I watched it all the way through because everyone said it would "get better". But it didn't. Omar aside, nothing was all that compelling in the least.
I don't know about highly praised, but Vampire Diaries has a ton of fans. I like the first couple of seasons. I'm on Season 5 now and it feels like a chore. Repetitive. Boring. Actors and actresses playing multiple roles. No likeable characters. Not really even a plot to the show. How did this last 8 years?

Mad Men and Seinfeld are the big two for me. There are shows I have not seen yet but am planning on it like Lost or 24 or The Americans Breaking Bad or The Sopranos.

It plays like a cheap paperback romance novel on screen I checked out of Mr. Robot after the first episode. It did not interest me at all and I still don't understand why people think it's great. I watched a few episodes of Outlander before checking out. I found it boring, just a girlie romance show that has sex and violence in it. I tried watching Charmed on Netflix and managed to watch two seasons. I don't see myself watching anymore episodes. It is way too heavy on relationship drama with the fantasy elements taking a backseat.

The Sopranos. I didn't hate it, but just never felt like I wanted to watch it. I am with you on that. Everybody in my family used to talk about it constantly like it was the greatest thing ever. Doesn't do anything for me

The Wire. I never watched it when it aired originally and many years later tried to watch it but it seemed 'dated' to me.
The Simpsons. I'm not a fan of animated series.
The Americans. So I'm suppose to believe a 90 pd woman can man handle and judo chop trained assassins. Ya right.
Orphan Black. The first season was ok but subsequent seasons bored me.
That's all for now.

The First season of Orphan Black was really good. Then it turned to shit after that.

Ally McBeal, The Wire, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Orphan Black, 24, Orange Is The New Black, pretty much most of them. The Sopranos I actually did enjoy.

I watched about 3 episodes of Deadwood before turning it off. I may try it again, but I just wasn't feeling it, especially the dialogue. Calamity Jane also annoyed the hell out of me.

The first 5 episodes or so of Deadwood S1 I enjoyed, I struggled through the rest of the season and haven't watched more. There is great acting, but I don't understand the hype.

1. Mad Men (felt bland after Sopranos) 2. Peaky Blinders (I struggle with period pieces in general) 3. Handmaids tale (too much feminist bs) 4. Mr Robot - could not get over Rami Malek (who I find smoking hot) being portrayed as an introverted geek/psycho/whatever kind of oddball that likes to cry sitting next to his fridge at home) 5. Preacher (this one surprised me, I love Judd Apatow and Seth Rogens production usually) 6. Game of Thrones. I was never even tempted to try it. GoT virgin here 7. House of Cards. This one I recognize as a Great show. I just didn't enjoy a show where I couldn't relate to or like anyone. I really tried though - gave it one whole season 8. Dexter. He had trouble feeling things and I had trouble feeling anything for him/the show as a result I think
