All of these actors absolutely deserve Best Actor Oscar nominations for their performances in 'Logan', 'Spider-Man: Homecoming', and 'War for the Planet of the Apes' respectively.
Sadly, because they're all in films that are typically ignored at Oscar ceremonies, they will obviously going to be ignored entirely. Seriously, we're living in an age in which Jamie Dornan is more likely to win Best Actor for his performance in 'Fifty Shades Darker' than any of those actors I've mentioned.
P.S. Yes, I'm serious about Tom Holland. That one particular scene in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' had some of the single best actings I've witnessed in a big-budget film since that infamous scene in 'Casino Royale' and that "perilous" scene in 'Iron Man'.

Michael Keaton as Vulture as well.
TBH I didn't care much for Logan. I thought it very lame.

Him, Michael Rooker, and Patrick Stewart all deserve Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominations.
Sadly, we all know that's not going to happen.

The Academy is a shameful failure these days. Until they get their act together (although I'm sure they never will), I don't want any of these actually good performances to be recognized by the Oscar hacks.

The academy used to occasionally give special awards (usually for technical achievements, the last was John Lassiter for Toy Story). It's something that I think should be considered more often. In the past I thought Blair Witch deserved one (although it was far removed from Hollywood), but I do think Serkis deserves something for his great performances in mo-cap.

Andy Serkis definitely deserves a Oscar nomination. In fact War for the Planet of the apes deserves a nomination for best film, not Wonder Woman!

Agreed, War was honestly tied with Baby Driver and Logan for my favorite movie of 2017 I liked Dawn a bit better but compared to other movies War, Logan and Baby Driver really stand out in 2017 even more than Dunkirk or The Big Sick.

Tom Holland was awful in SMH! As for Hugh Jackman, he'll probably get a Best Actor Oscar nomination this year, but not for Logan. The Academy doesn't want to nominate him for Logan so they'll nominate him for The Greatest Showman instead.
