I've never understood the idea of fetishizing feet. I can see fetishizing breasts and butts. Hell, there maybe an evolutionary reason for those two. Female Humans are the only primate who's breast are full all the time. Other apes' breasts only become full during pregnancy and breast feeding. This would've confused early man into taking care of and providing for a female all the time. As for butts our fetishizing may be linked to the behavior of our cousins' fascination with red rumps. More primitive primates use the butt as a physical que that a female is fertile. The height of the butt also could signal a larger hip to waist ratio which directly effects fertility. The higher the ratio the easier it is to give birth. The basic idea behind it is that men want what they can't have or stuff they're denied easy access to. Women's breasts and butts are almost always covered, which is why they actively seek it. There was a time when men salivated over seeing a woman's ankle, because it was always hidden from sight. Of course, now that we always see it it has lost it's allure. If things continue the way they're going we might eventually lose our attraction to breasts and butt, simply due to them being overexposed in years to come. Anyway back to the feet. You don't get to see a woman's feet that much. They're almost always covered in shoes, and even if they have open-toed shoes or sandals you don't get to hold them that often. You get to hold the woman's hands or her waist, kiss her lips, etc. but you don't get to hold the feet that much. So there's a sense of intimacy when you get to hold the feet, or see it up close, etc. |
