What type of world am I living in where Kenny Easley and Terrell Davis play a tad over HALF a decade and get into the 'Elite' of the 'Elite'. Yep - I get they were dominant players in their 'Era' (does a pinch over 'half a decade constitute an 'Era'? ) But does this constitute a HOF entry? That's pretty much going to college and graduating. Thoughts? Discuss.

Sandy Koufax only won 165 games. Exactly as many as Barry Zito. Less than John Candelaria, Danny Darwin, Kevin Appier. It's recognized that only injuries made Koufax' numbers so blah. Same thing with Easley and Davis.

Not only winning percentage/impact to a team/but longevity too. Now every ham and egger who made the front page news of the sports section page gets in. Hell - I went to a Flyers game one night and in the concessions I went 20 for 20 playing 'Basketball Hot Shot' with Nachos and Miller Lite in my left hand - where's my plaque and award.

Koufax was the "best of the best". No pitcher EVER was as dominant in his prime. Joe DiMaggio has less hits than Bert Campaneris and Carlos Lee. Fewer homers than Jim Edmonds and Ryan Howard. Throw the bum out!!

Obvious troll is obvious. OP is some kind of weird hybrid. Some solid points and arguments sprinkled here and there among flat-out obvious not-worthy-of-a-response trolling.

Koufax played 2 more than the requisite 10 years, pitching to a 2.76 ERA, WHIP <1.0 and averaging 9.3Ks per 9 innings.
Any questions?
