Without thinking too much, there’s only three Pavement tracks where I find the Fall influence a little too overt. The other two being “Two States” and “Hit the Plane Down”. The latter being particularly bothersome as it sounds so out of place among the otherwise breezy country-tinged California Pop of the rest of Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain.
