I find your b-bomb meltdown unpatriotic, can only hope the NSA is having an eye on you. yeah sounds like a jolly fun time, i wasn't there, but ironically in retrospect historians will probably find that the MCU nuked the raccoon and jumped the dance off with this famously huge turd. Nah, they basically restored the idea of the old-fashioned space opera. Heck, I saw people saying it was a better Star Wars movie than anything since 1983. yeah, intellectual insects and flat-earthers like the weirdraptor, samy. GotG is really a cheap variation on shows like Futurama (Leelah is just green) or even Firefly, but with juvenile, lowbrow humor and without any real ideas of its own. Stuffed with corny pop music, idiotic dialog and uninspired character writing GotG is completely unable to create something iconic and culture-defining of it's own. A popular fad that will soon be revealed as oblivious fart. Even comparing it to StarWars a mythological dystopia that depicted the fall of a republic, democracy, or of heroes and institutions, and the rise of demagogues? That really says a lot about the low intelligence age of the claimant.

Not the artsy-fartsy stuff Lucas tried with the Prequels but the original movies. With a heaping of self-awareness of course.

Anyone actually watching it going to comment? I thought episodes 3 and 4 were very good after the set-up of the first two.

I just finished it this morning. The finale was really well done imo. However it felt like a chore for me to get there. I almost didn't continue watching after the 3rd episode I was bored with it. I ended up watching 4 episodes last night and then finished the other 4 today. The second half of the season was far better imo. There is just a bit too much Iron Fist who is easily the character I care about the least. I will say this though for those who have finished it. I could have gone without that last 30 seconds or so to finish the season. I liked it better not knowing. In the end I'd say the series was meh. Probably like a 5.5/10 or so.

Jessica and Matt were the best part of the series, as their shows were the best part of the universe. Looking forward to Punisher, JJ 2, DD 3, Moon Knight?
