I want Brighton to be runner-up to Arsenal for the title. Can't wait to see Brighton and Hove Albion F.C. vs the likes of Juventus.

Did anyone remember about this?
Anyway here are the latest scores (I haven't double checked them and there still could be movement, but I thought it is so exciting let's see who is looking closest to victory right now).
-17 MrFurious
-22 Carl
-23 dougy -23 izzy -23 stan
-25 sdm3
-29 painbow -29 runie -29 weststigersbob
-31 stags
MrFurious is out in front, looking like clear favourite to win looking at his picks.
Well done also to Runie, sdm3, & myself, who were the only people who picked out Man City as Premier League champs, sadly it hasn't done any of us that much good. In hindsight, maybe I should have included bonus points if you get a team in an exact position, but we don't change the scoring system halfway through the season.

So what your saying is, I should have shoved my anti-Newcastle bias up my arse and picked them instead of West Brom, and I’d be on 19 ?
Actually, Im hilariously good at picking teams to go well, and they end up relegated.....

Actually, Im hilariously good at picking teams to go well, and they end up relegated..... Yep, ouch for all the people who picked West Brom , and double ouch for all the people who picked West Brom AND Southampton. Only MrFurious & Carl avoided these two pitfalls. But things can still change, Newcastle could easily plummet down the table & Southampton could easily rise up the ranks. You'd have to think though, people who have picked West Brom are probably screwed at this stage!

Having a look - quite a few of us picked West Brom. What were we thinking ? I know I picked them only because I didn’t want to pick Newcastle. Should’ve picked Burnley instead....

I wasn't far off picking West Brom myself. To be fair, the season before they looked solid at the back and picked off some good results against top teams. In many ways they were the Burnley of last season. I went for Newcastle instead though purely because of Rafa, as I thought he'd be a safer bet to get them a mid-table finish. If I was picking by how good the teams looked on paper I probably would have gone for Palace or West Ham, but I had no faith in De Boer or Bilic, and couldn't bring myself to pick West Ham anyway because I just don't like them!
My two biggest mistakes were picking Arsenal to finish 2nd, I knew that was a risk at the time, but they ended last season strong and with no CL I thought they'd do a bit better, and Southampton are also looking like a big mistake, I picked them because they always look so comfortable on the ball, but I guess they lack a bit of steel and razzmatazz.

There were only 6 points separating 8th and 17th. Didn't realise it was that close! And West Brom weren't that good at defending even last season looking at their GA column. Guess memories can be deceiving.
