I've been paying attention to your music posts and likes over the past few months, Sulla. Being someone who doesn't have a limited musical horizon and clearly appreciates good musicianship, you should have all King's X records.  Thanks, you're right. I recall someone once comparing King's X to Rush. I imagine it's the strong bass aspect of the band.
But in the past decade or so, I have begun to feel completely overwhelmed by the number of things which clamor for my time and attention; books, movies, music, message boards, etc. And sometimes things just fall between the cracks. But I also sometimes catch up on them years later. It's no country for old men. 
The comparison to Rush is probably more due to them being a long-standing trio. I hear a lot of influences in their sound, but I don't know if I would include Rush among them. I do however, hear a lot of KX in a lot of other bands. As a matter of fact, Tabor is the one who started the Drop D tuning that many of the Seattle grunge bands hooked onto. There is always time for KX.  |

mszanadu, it didn't hurt that Heather Graham is in the video heating things up. I thought that was awesome she was in this music video too . It was even more clever because that song and actress was in the film Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) . |
