I love Cate and she's an amazing actress but as Lucille Ball? Not sure. Seems like a really odd choice.

I had my doubts at first but as Fantoma says above, Cate is amazing and with the right accent and make-up, I bet she'll do Lucy justice, big time.

What was your other choice , politicidal ? I thought of Nicole Kidman , but then
had doubts she could do it as well as Cate ? Cate for me is one of the greatest
contemporary actresses in Hollywood . Her nickname The Chameleon has been
well earned ! But Lucy is a very difficult task for any capable actress to get that
zaniness as well as her cynical side right .

This movie is being produced by Lucille Ball's kids.
So they really have a lot of faith in Cate for this.
I'm looking forward to seeing it!!!!
