Interesting lineup with Ajer and Tierney playing as the centre-backs with the youngsters Ralston and Miller, either side of them. New Bhoy, Kouassi got carried off with what looks like a bad injury. The poor bugger has been injured for most of the time he's been with Celtic, now gets a start in the team and gets injured again.
Big news from the club is that Patrick Roberts has asked Pep to let him return to Glasgow. He was earmarked for a stint at Nice.

All too predictable, sadly. I still think we'll do a tad better than last year, which is as giddily optimistic as it gets. I think it's rather weaselly calling your team the reserves, as it included full internationals and expensive signings from other clubs whose total value would have dwarfed our lot by at least 10 to 1. If I cared enough, I'd check that out on Transfermarkt, but I don't. It's a reasonable guess though. Anything less than a Celtic win would have been a major upset, and they only seem to come along every five years or so.
