Still no online release  Finally an online release for ep 2... Have you tried any of the sites that use kodi? They usually stream the next day. Maybe since it's an ATT series they control it more stringently. Did you like the 2nd ep better? |

Just found out about this in a email from DIRECTTV NOW. Premieres Aug 9th on the Audience channel. I am really looking forward to this series. The book is one of King fans most respected novels. It is directed by Game of Thrones director Jack Bender and adapted for television by David E Kelly. So many mini-series based on King's books are poorly done. I really hope AT&T pulls this one off. I wasn't that impressed with the pilot as I didn't much like the character played by Gleeson, so I haven't watched episode 2 yet. I will probably get around to doing so sooner or later. |

Brendan Gleeson is a watchable charismatic actor who convinces as the belligerent, spooked, retired cop and Harry Treadaway is perfect as the creepy malevolent villain. He reminds me of the Malcolm McDowell character in A Clockwork Orange. Excellent support cast as well.
I cannot read King's books but I love the filmed adaptions of them.

I thought Ep3 started slowly, but toward the ending had built up the tension and suspense nicely. And I must say this, Brady's relationship with his mother is downright disgusting. |
