It’s finally snowing in London.
I had just put some food out for the birds (and the local cats) and broken the ice on the bird bath.

I was able to remove a sweater.
But I saw others in shorts and t-shirts-that seemed too under dressed to me.

Sunny and cold Sunny and cold, that is also how it is now, where I live. Just a few days ago, it snowed very much, and at nights, it goes very cold, so it would not surprise me, if we end up with a bit more snowy weather, but hopefully spring, will settle in, and "finish" off with winter, for this time. That is a a beautiful image, by the way.

Cold and cloudy. 46 now, 35 later tonight. Had to build a fire in the Buck stove. Last week when we had a few hot days and everyone was out mowing their grass my mower was at the place I take it to get it tuned up for the year. Started mowing at 4: 30 wearing a sweatshirt and heavy coat. After 20 mins. came in to smear vaseline on my cheeks, nose and lips and put on gloves as well. I was rewarded for braving the cold though. As I was finishing up next to the woods covered sharp downhill at the back a nice sized black morel caught my eye. 
I let the mower idle while I picked it and looked around for more but it was all by its lonesome. It'll be a tasty butter fried treat tomorrow ! And I'll check the spot again after the next sunny day. |

Whoops. It's actually snowing out right now. Took the dog out for a last potty and yep, actual snow coming down. This is wild.  |
