I don't expect this to be a huge thread but why not check in with how your team's doing in preseason? Colts first play the Lions on Sunday; Luck still reportedly not throwing the ball. Nice chance to see how the revamped defense is shaping up.
DeShaun Watson and Christian McAffrey saw some action in the first preseason game, Texans/Panthers, with both looking solid.
Who does your team play first, and which players are you hoping get some time?

Have tickets to Giants/Steelers pre-season game.... of course I am not going.
The NFL are scum bags. Premium prices for exhibition games. Same price to see 3rd string QB throw to receiver who will be cut in two weeks as to see Eli and Odell. Same price!
The NFL will never do this but those exhibition games should be held in training camps. Steelers visit Jints camp, suit up and play before a crowd that paid nothing. TV can broadcast it, but no way should anybody be charged for those idiotic "games."

In a preview of Super Bowl LII the Vikings play the Bills tonight. I want to see how German born Moritz Bohringer looks. Seems he has been coming along quite nicely. I also want to see former Iowa Hawkeye Jalelel Johnson. He was a beast in college.
Hey GoodMan. How about a little friendly wager on tonight's game?

Vikings 1st and 2nd team defense looked good. They invested a lot in the D locking up 4 top players to long term contract. Just need to re-sign Anthony Barr and Danielle Hunter (13 sacks last year) once their rookie contract is up, then we will have a solid D for years.

Nice pickup for the Vikes. Are you hopeful that the o-line improves this year? Still not looking great but then, there are a bunch of new starters on that position.

I was very pleased when they drafted Cook, he has the ability to be a top NFL back. Two new tackles on the O-Line and changes of position between guard and center. Hopefully preseason will give them time enough to become a cohesive unit. Vikes are solid at TE, but we need help for Diggs at WR. Someone needs to step up. Treadwell maybe?
If they all get their shit together teams better not overlook them. They will be dangerous.

Trubisky looked good tonight. He came in as the third quarterback, but, hey, you play against whoever is in front of you. Really good accuracy tonight, and he's got some wheels. One preseason game in, and both Houston and Chicago fans should be heartened. I'll be interested in seeming Mahomes play as well.
