Given how competitive the league is (which I actually think is detrimental to it but that's for another day) a team like Everton definitely could win it while all the big boys are taking points off each other.
But I doubt it.
Title is going to Manchester.

The problem really lies in Everton picking up points... if Rooney turns into Pele, Ross Barkley turns into Maradona, Jagielka turns into Bobby Moore, and Schneiderlin turns into Iniesta... they will be the shizzle! |

I think Rooney may surprise some; his dip in form being more about confidence than ability in recent years.
It's a shame no-one is doing a fantasy league -- didn't someone used to?

Remember Leicester I do. But I think Everton are nailed on for 7th again. I'm actually more sure of that than I am of who is going to win the league. I suppose one of the top teams could have a complete disaster and do a Chelsea and you could move up to 6th. Maybe Chelsea will do a Chelsea. But all 6 of them? Well I guess that is the beauty of football, you just never know. I do agree with Painbow that Rooney is going to have a good year, I think he'll be fit and motivated so that he can get selected for the WC. And get yourself signed up to the prediction league, just a bit of fun mate. And it is much less aggro than all that trouble you went to posting the final standings! |
