It's gotten critical praise but only grossed $8M opening weekend. It only cost like $30M so it might do fine. once again this summer I don't get the critical praise. 60, understandable. 70, fine. 80? ok, thats a stretch but I could even see that. but 93?? And the critics praising how clever it is and all its twists? I might have to see it again to see what I missed… at this point I just see too many plot holes or relying in pure coincidence in order to pull off the heist. Honestly last probably 25 minutes killed the movie, had it ended at the pageant it wouldve been better.

I agree, that was a powerful scene and everything that followed seemed A) unnecessary B) not making much sense C) forced as something to make Logan and his whole shtick as more excusable. Similar to what they did with Jacksons character in the Hitmans Bodyguard. His origin story was trying to make the audience forget somehow he killed almost 300 people for money and just like him as a decent guy? COME ON! Dont try to normalize contract killers. Just let us chose if we want to like a contract killer or not on our own…Its called Hitman and the Bodyguard, not "the Poor People's Ryan Gosling's frenemy who was actually a Son of a Preacher just trying to avenge his father"
