I love Breaking Bad. I've watched the whole series thrice now. Originally I wasn't too interested in BCS. I really like the character but just felt that a prequel was unnecessary.
Now, I can't help but reconsider...
So, what say you? Worth a watch??

Be warned, it's a lot slower that BB but it's just as good imo, the acting is fantastic with some great cameos from Breaking Bad stars.

100% yes. The first two seasons had too many lulls for my taste, I found a lot of it much too slow although I still enjoyed the show overall. But for whatever reason, the writers sped up things the third season and the show was thusly was much improved. I think it's finally found its footing. Looking forward to the next chapter now.
So yes, check it out. But get Breaking Bad out of your mind. BCS is not on BB's level imo, but it's still a quality show on its own.

Saul aka Jimmy McGill is boring. As is his girlfriend and brother. The writers need to metamorphose him into Saul, soon.
The fact that Mike and Gus are around is what keeps me watching.

It's wonderful, but I haven't watched Breaking Bad so nothing to compare it too.
I think it's great as a stand alone show.

I loved BB. BCS is not quite as good, but it still delivers. I especially like that dark, quirky humor. After you watch it, you'll know what a "squat-cobbler" is. 
My fav episode so far is the one which explains Mike's backstory of why he left the Philadelphia Police Department and moved to New Mexico. In fact, a part of the series is how Mike broke bad. I think you'll be well entertained.

I watched the first season and the first season only of Better Call Saul and found it slow and just average. I have been considering giving it a second chance for a while now. |
