Oh thats mean he is gay too. whatever closet he dwells in, I like to imagine him being asexual with a Peter Pan syndrome lovingly combing his plastic pony-, SailorMoon and Captain America dolls. But these are the very least of his issues. It's not the "weird" that concerns me, but the raptor part.

And who are you, again? Oh, right, nobody. I don’t get it. Did I upset you because you don’t understand something? Oh, please. Suggesting you have the ability to upset me gives you far too much credit.

The kind of 3rd grade - and lower - schoolyard bullying you introduced and stand for. I wish instead of bullying online forums all day you would attend school classes more frequently; this may help avoiding some your more ignorant statements in adult life. No offence.

Without reading all of these posts... They call it the DCEU because DCU is just the comics already and DCCU sounds stupid. Since DC already deals heavily in the multiverse, the Extended is just another universe in their multiverse. So they are extending that multiverse.

A Green Arrow tv series set in the DCEU would be pretty awesome, but it would have to be on HBO! Fuck the CW and their shitty felicity character!

I still have to watch this season on Netflix, but yeah, her character makes me not want to. She's hot and all, but the way they started writing her character like the show is called Felicity turns me off.

You've heard the expression "The Holy Roman Empire was neither Holy nor Roman." Well, the same can said about the MCU. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is neither Cinematic nor a Universe.
MCU isn't cinematic because it includes Agents of SHIELD, Agent Carter, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and that crappy snoozefest Jessica Jones, all of which aren't cinematic. MCU dictator Kevin Feige is too dumb to understand that TV shows aren't cinema.
And MCU isn't a universe because a universe includes the entire set. The universe of Marvel Comics characters includes the X-Men, Magneto, the Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom, the Silver Surfer, Galactus, all of whom aren't part of MCU. So MCU is only a subset of Marvel Comics and therefore MCU is really a sub-universe and not a universe.

Since DC already deals heavily in the multiverse, the Extended is just another universe in their multiverse. So they are extending that multiverse. Here's the problem with that. Saying it's a part of the same multiverse is just lazy because there is no connection. They've done zero work and yet you're giving them credit for doing nothing more than saying it's part of the "multiverse". All that does is give them an excuse to make no effort to maintain any continuity.
Now I agree DCCU sounds stupid, and DCU is not only what their comics are called but also too close to MCU, but DCEU isn't much better than those options. If you like the multiverse idea, even DCM might have been a little better with the middle C being Cinematic. IDK, they're choices might be difficult, but the word "extended" just seems random to what they've done.

You've heard the expression "The Holy Roman Empire was neither Holy nor Roman." Well, the same can said about the MCU. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is neither Cinematic nor a Universe. It's a Universe, it just doesn't have the lazy crutch of all the overexposed characters like the FF or X-Men to fall back on so they had to actually innovate. Like how DC was too lazy to make movies about anyone other than Batman or Superman for decades. And it started out Cinematic, so that part made sense. It's since surpassed that, but it's a good name so there's no point in changing it. Like how "The Wire" stopped being about a Wiretap early on. And Jessica Jones is far better than Supergirl.

Watching paint dry is more entertaining than watching Jessica Jones.

Marvel did the same thing. They gave multiverse designation numbers to everything. The MCU isn't in the same universe as the comics or animated series, but they are a part of the same multiverse. But the DCEU is only the movies. Wouldn't the DCM encompass the shows, also? The movies and the shows aren't specifically connected. Calling only the movies the DCEU is like Marvel calling the MCU 199999 while the comics are 616. The DCEU specifically is an Earth in an infinite amount of Earths.
