I dont think the Bills will regret getting rid of Watkins. They could. When he's healthy, he's as good as anybody. He didn't thrive under Ryan & Ryan and he's haunted by the might have beens of the 2014 Draft, trade up and take Khalil Mack or stay put and take Odell. Bottom line, 18 years and counting. Vile murderers don't get the harsh sentence the Bills fans have had to endure.

somebody give me the scoop on Darby..... He was great in '15, mediocre in '16. Another good player wrecked by Ryan and Ryan, Inc. He's really fast. Is Jordan Matthews worth anything?

Is Jordan Matthews worth anything? then it sounds like he'll be the best CB on the Eagles because their secondary blows. matthews? average. he was Wentz's best weapon last year but that says squat because they had no offensive weapons other than an aging Darren Sproles - who should have been playing 1/3 of the game as a swiss army knife - i.e. punt/kickoff returns/screen passes - but was thrust into game situations as an every down runner because their offensive weapons sucked donkey ass. he had some big drops - in the end zone too and drops that could have turned a game around - as the whole receiving core did. i actually like the guy in the slot. he's not a burner. he's not 'big'. he's an 'average joe' i.e. the Birds viewed him as 'expendable'. he's 'average'.

Bottom line, 18 years and counting. Vile murderers don't get the harsh sentence the Bills fans have had to endure. Try 41 years and counting. I have spent over 80% of my life waiting for another Super Bowl appearance. They tease me by making multiple NFC Championship games and then they take my hope away from me. Hell, I was so young I don't even remember watching their last Super Bowl.

And what WAS that playoff game, you might ask...

I think your perfect field goal kicker missed the one that he needed to make to click the loss if I remember correctly, but that was a good team that year.

That Vikings team was awesome.....

Oh Lordy have mercy, child. Tankie McTank has reported for duty at One Bills Drive.
Just underlines the idiocy of giving up an extra 1st rounder for a WR - who does this? - to try to save his job. Never mind that you've got trash throwing to him, and could have had Beckham without trading up.
This front office is signaling that the rebuild will be done properly, instead of limping to 7 or 8 win seasons each year with a roster full of never-ending mediocrity. Bold, but now they HAVE to hit on most of those picks next year.
Also, thanks for the money, season ticket holders!

Yes, the infamous wide left 36 yd FG after a perfect season kicking the ball. Vikes had only one loss that year before that game. Set a NFL record for scoring and yards gained. When Atlanta lined up for their OT FG I couldn't watch. I went outside and paced, came back in and my buddy was sitting there, his face was white as a ghost. I then knew Atlanta won the game with no words spoken. Man that was tough. One consolation, it wasn't 18-1.

Management (whoever that was back then, I've lost track) thought a great WR would make a reach pick into a good pick. Jerry Rice, Randy Moss AND Michael Irwin couldn't have helped EJ. When they traded up, everyone thought, for a minute, it was for University of Buffalo's Khalil Mack. Yeah, they could have stayed put and taken Odell. Would he have prospered out of the NYC limelight? And working with EJ instead of Eli? No the fans aren't happy here. Bills can't compete with NE, but with Miami scuffling for a QB and the Jets wondering if they can win a game, a WC was possible. The first team defense looked real good last night.

They should have made a move for a QB the year RGIII went 1st. Not given up that much for him, of course, but that was the year to do it instead of reaching for EJ Manuel in a thin year for QBs.

Bills have so many bad draft picks in recent memory (eg John McCargo) but the one that sticks out for me is taking TJ Graham when Russell Wilson was still on the board.

Would Russell Wilson have become Russell Wilson without Pete Carroll? You can have talent but you need the right situation. Like Odell Beckham. I think he fed off the limelight of NYC, making him a better player. There's little limelight on this end of the state. The Bills have drafted duds, EJ and JP Loseman. But they have stayed away from some duds. Brady Quinn, Brandon Weeden, Big Jawn Football, all of whom were discussed. I'm worried that the Bills are loading up on draft picks in order to win the Sam Darnold Sweepstakes. Not by tanking (this team is still miles ahead of the Jets or the 49ers) but by banking trade chips.

At some point talented players have to come to Buffalo and get it done. Knowing only what we knew then, who was the better value at that pick, Graham or Wilson? This franchise hasn't had a QB worth a damn since Bledsoe's first year on the team.

somebody give me the scoop on Darby..... Darby was runner up for defensive rookie of the year in 15. He has bags of potential. He had a down year last year but then, Buffalo's defense as a whole sucked too. Their entire secondary was plagued with injuries so the corners had no secondary help. If he develops on track he could really help your Birds.
