Well, by today's standards each 60's season was worth 1 1/2 seasons. Many had like 32 eps.Or more !! Now, many cable and/or online services like Amazon, Netflix or Hulu, often consider 10 episodes (or even less), a "full" season! Makes me wonder if there will one day be a show that ends up running for 20 seasons, and gets nowhere near producing 200 total episodes (the one time 'magic number' that signified a TRULY long-running show).... SAVE FERRIS

I wish it would be released on DVD. Sometimes I get a craving for ultra-lightweight early 1960s sitcoms.

Pete & Gladys was positive and funny, was about people who liked one another. It didn't scale the heights (as it were). We could use more of that these days, many of us.

"Batman" ran for 3 seasons but your point is correct. "F-Troop" and "The Rat Patrol" were also only 2 seasons. I'm sure there are others that I will think of later. One season was too much for “F Troop”.

I am not sure why the 1960s had a lot of shows that only ran for two seasons. I think every decade of Tv had shows that only last for two seasons, but it seems like the 1960s had the most shows that only lasted for two seasons. I wish that The Munsters lasted longer than two seasons. I thought it was a good show.

SAVE FERRIS The second season of Batman actually had 60 episodes. Of course it was 2 half hour eps per week so you could count it as 30 1 hour episodes if you like.

I must concur with taylor on this. ftroop was just a ffft show. almost like Vinton haper was in it. and the sad thing... ken berry was an amazing entertainer back then/in the 70-80s.

Surfside 6 is another 1960-1962 I didn't care for it. But since I probably last saw an episode 57 years ago I may think differently about it if I saw it today.

They may have ran for 2 seasons, but based on today they made episodes enough for 3-4 seasons
