Knee, looks like. Couldn't put weight on it coming off the field. Did a lot of agony grimacing.

I can't be the only one expecting a distasteful joke.

I can't be the only one expecting a distasteful joke. He's an egotistical jerk but not bad enough to laugh at him getting injured.

I think it's amazing more people don't get hurt trying to run a hit out to first - ad rain in there and it's a recipe for disaster. I like the Nats. Feel for their fans. Wouldn't mind seeing them win a WS since the Phils blow and they got rid of Pappelbon - just can't stand their commentators - some of the most cringe worthy brutal homers out there - F.P. Santangelo sounds like he wants to leave the booth and run out onto the field and make love to some of the players at times. Nats fans always have to deal with the Strasburg injuries - now this......

Their pitching seems to be imploding lately, too. I do feel bad for Harper, though. I know he projects "jerk" much of the time, but he seems to actually be a cool guy in interviews. That video is brutal to watch. It looks like his knee bent backwards. His leg looked like it was made of rubber for a moment.

Would love nothing more than the Phils to be fighting at the top of the NL East either for the division or a wildcard. Ain't happening. Rebuild had has hit some major bumps in the road and some of the kids on the farm - 'J.P. Crawford' comes to mind and guys they were supposed to build their team around - Maikel Franco - don't seem like 1/3 of the players they were supposed to be. Curious to see what they do with all this money they have stashed. That being said - I don't have a strong dislike for the Nats and Fish like I do the Bravos and Mutts - and I guess you can say I'm a rare breed when 'your' team blows - I want the division rivals to do well - makes that rivalry and when they come into your 'park' that much more fun. As a Phils fan - do you think I want to go to the park and see a last place Nats team that sucks - or a team that is competing for the division every year and the Phils knock them out of the playoff hunt the last week of the season. Makes the game that much more fun and interesting in my eyes than your team beating up on the Little Sisters of the Poor.

And I prefer to go to games where they're going to mop the floor with the other team. Haha

And I prefer to go to games where they're going to mop the floor with the other team. Haha I completely agree. As a sports fan - going to Citizens Bank Park from 2007-2011 was the funnest time in my life - you just knew the Phils were going to kick the living crap out of the opposition (especially 2008-2011). But in my eyes - it's that much more sweet - when the other team is a rival and they're considered above average and a contender as well. I love the fact the Eagles play the Cowboys on New Year's Eve at home the last game of the season - I hope they're both fighting for the Division - and the Birds bury them 48-0 knocking them out of a playoff berth or down to a WC. Even sweeter? They in turn meet them in the playoffs and kick the living crap out of them again sending them home for the year. That in my eyes is 'fun' - the cherry/icing on top so to speak. Not when the Cowboys are 2-14.

Knee, looks like. Couldn't put weight on it coming off the field. Did a lot of agony grimacing. No ligament damage has been reported. Diagnosed as a 'Bone Bruise' I've heard this ugly term before - Joel Embiid. Had a 'meniscus tear' which was supposed to be nothing to go along with the 'Bone Bruise' and was 'out indefinitely' - aka 'Day to Day' he never returned last season (that being said i have an opinion they held him and Simmons out when they could have played to position themselves better in the draft)

I can't be the only one expecting a distasteful joke. This is what I thought of (Don't listen to at work or in front of Grandma!) "Hey there people, I'm Bryce Harper! They say I'm the cutest boy in town."
