The Smiths - I like parts of Strangeways but overall it's a spotty album and pales in comparison to previous albums.

Well technically (& I know I'm splitting hairs here) Abbey Road was their real final album; it's just that it was released before Let It Be. Though I wouldn't say L.I.B was the worst final album ever,it was definitely one of their weakest efforts. |

Admittedly, all 4 Beatles were not there, but that was true of many of the later Beatles cuts. |
