Okay, then answer my question. Were those people stupid? Why were the pyramids built, Mr. Archeologist? Give us all the answers. Don't keep us in the dark.
Mr. Archeologist, are the Native Americans stupid? Strangely, no they weren't... they had generations of accumulated knowledge of things like mathematics, architecture, etc to utilise... But, that has nothing to do with your paragraph in question... Yours sincerely Mr Archaeologist PS why the pyramids were built? They were massive vanity projects, status symbols... nothing more, nothing less.
Why did they bother to line them up to star systems in the cosmos and construct intricate maze-like inner structures just for a vanity project? And how did they do that without sunlight? Torches? How did they keep them lighted? Are there any 'scorch' marks anywhere inside the pyramids, or any evidence of torches?
I'll come back later to read what other bullshit you come up with.

Which star 'systems' would that be then? Do you know how many stars there are in the sky? I could align the pyramids, or anything else you care to mention, on any number of them... What inner maze structures would they be? They built them, ways in and out, and chambers, from the ground up... why would they need torches? They didn't build a solid pyramid block, and then hollow it out... You keep digging, but I told you, you are out of your depth here.

Oh, there was evolution all right, but that doesn't disprove a Creator.
Btw, I don't know why you're laughing like a fool. There's no need to disprove a creator, there's a need to prove the existence of one. Which nobody has ever managed. And I know you don't know why I'm laughing. But with luck, perhaps one day you'll get it.

Do you know what a straw man is? I could argue with you 'know-it-alls' all day long but it would be an exercise in futility and I have work and things to do today.
I will just reiterate that there is most definitely a Creator. And yet, of course you don't have any evidence of it.

I will just reiterate that there is most definitely a Creator. If there most definitely is a creator, then you should be able to support the claim. Instead, you don't even bother to try and rather make a weak excuse.

No, SPECIFIC stars, not just random ones. All the chambers have natural sunlight in them?
Tell us, how exactly were they built then? How did they lift those tons of blocks with mathematical precision?
You are full of shit and should get your money back from whatever university you went to.

Because I have to tell you, a quick study of the geomorphology of the Giza plateau shows that the Ancient Egyptians had a great understanding of geology, and placed their pyramids accordingly... Of course, if they actually just built them on a magical star alignment, which happens to coincide with placing them so they don't sink in to the desert, I am all ears.

I believe there is some force that started the fire of life. Call it a god if you must.
I was born into and raised Christian. Most of the Christian "faith" or "mythos" is based upon the Jewish faith. Both religions believe in the same creator god. They differ in some of the achievements of said god and of the "deity" of Jesus of Nazareth. To the Jews he was just simply a teacher, a prophet to the Christians he is the Messiah. The Jews say the Christians are wrong and don't understand the role of the Messiah and claim that Jesus did not meet any of the criteria, whereas Christians claim he meets all the criteria. Anyway most of that is for another thread. This one is about the belief of a creator god.
I believe that there are other life forms out in the universe somewhere. We just haven't met them or discovered them. They might be microscopic or they could be like many of our sea creatures that are bound to their planet of origin. The point about other life in the universe most people like to make is that of Intelligent life, sentient life. It could be possible that we are the only intelligent life out there, but I doubt in all the universe we are totally alone. Or the "first" intelligent species.

What do you want to know about Aztec and Mayan monumental architecture? But, I gotta warn you... if you are going to suggest some kind of link between global cultures and monumental architecture, beyond that they each independently found that a basic three dimensional inverted v is the easiest way to build tall stone monumental structures, whether pyramidal, or comical... then I will tell you to go away

I suspect that many people are aware there was likely some "creator" or intelligent force involved in the successful establishment of life on Earth who nevertheless say they do not think there was. It's not so much that they're "lying" as it's that they really do not want to believe in a creator. Funny, I always had the opposite thought - most people who claim there is some sort of god probably think, deep down, that this isn't true. It's not so much that they're "lying" as it's that they really want it to be true. Did you read the part about how religion stepped down and was replaced by government and how bad that turned out. Where are you and how is your government any better than a train wreck?

I'm in the UK, and my government is doing pretty well thanks.
