Most vital aspects of Twin Peaks & Lynch dramas

- mediocre actors in many of the main roles
- dilatory scenes of old or disabled person hobbling around/ having trouble hearing/ being unreasonable
- weak attempts at surrealism (watered down bunuel)
- too much use of static long shots
- "quirky" characters that are not really funny
- vision of america as mixture of 1950s wholesomeness and drugged out sadomasochism (with nothing in between)
