Paul Clement gone. Liverpool playing Swansea twice in the next few weeks too. Mark Hughes to return to his Welsh roots and rejuvenate the Swans, much to your obvious chagrin?

Had Southampton not suddenly shown us something against Spurs on Sunday you get the feeling that perhaps Pellegrino's odds would be a touch skinnier than 8/11. Saints' next two league games include Brighton at home and a very big tussle away to WBA. In the month of March Southampton's three of four league games are away from home, for some reason, and even their first game of April is away again, at Arsenal (making an unusual sequence of four consecutive away matches for them) I'd love to have a punt on Wenger at 20s, and even Conte at 12s, but can't see it. Pellegrini aside, surely that's it now? Perhaps No Manager To Leave should be considered if you are a gambling person with a couple of sovs to spare.
Next Manager To Go - 9th
Mauricio Pellegrino 8/11
Rafael Benitez 4/1
No Manager To Leave 10/1
Antonio Conte 12/1

And guess who's been installed as 15/8 fave ahead of Pellegrini? I'd say its even shorter in the last couple of minutes. Who do you want in for the bounce anyway, Anchellotti?

Now odds on to be gone by the end of the season @ 1/3. I'll take anyone who can last longer than two years. But what I really want is for Conte to be given free reign without the Fifth Floor sticking its nose in about transfers and such.

Chelsea were due to return to training on Wednesday... They have now been given three days off.
Make of that what you will. Seems a bit odd.

Listen, five sovs on No Manager To Leave would return me 125. Conte is going for sure but I believe it won't be until the season is over, even though Enrique is currently out of work and available immediately. Just can't see anyone going at this point of the season, can you? (Thomas Tuchel is another one who is out of football at the moment but I feel CFC will want Conte to see out the season)
Antonio Conte 1/8
Mauricio Pellegrino 7/1
Rafael Benitez 9/1
No Manager To Leave 14/1
David Moyes 16/1
Sam Allardyce 16/1
20/1 BAR
It's very tight in the lower half of the table and I can't see any of the clubs getting rid of their managers now. They've all got a chance of staying up, to my eyes, but perhaps Huddersfield looking particularly vulnerable now. Still, I think they'll all stick with their present coaches for the 12 games remaining. Yes, 14s for all to stay is worth a five sov shot. Do you agree?

I mean, you can make a cogent argument for any individual manager to keep his job until the end of the season, maybe. But all of them, at the same time? Personally, I'm amazed Conte hasn't already gone and to my mind is a sure thing to be gone within a month (at the very outside). I think all of Pellegrino, Benitez and Wagner are more likely to go than stay before season'e end also. And having marquee names like Enrique and Tuchel 'out there' waiting for the right offer means clubs might be eager to snap them up before their competitors do (they're not going to be available for long) and truncate timescales further still.
