How much do you disagree wiht my top 10 worst situation comedies?
These are in my opinion the 10 worst situation comedies ever made 1. Everybody Loves Raymond ( 1996-2005 ) 2. Full House ( 1987-1995 ) Well, those were my first 2 when I read the thread title. Raymond is nothing more than ppl yelling at one another -every fcuking second-. Family? The kids were basically pets who randomly happened to exist - barely on screen. Full House is the softest mushiest piece of trash ever on tv & it's not close. Its music alone would make someone start doing drugs. Home Improvement is there for me also, which is coincidentally a bit of Raymond & Full House all in one. Yelling, fighting, soft useless mush, & putrid humour.

Wow that's harsh. I didn't like Everybody Loves Raymond when it first aired but it really grew on me and is very funny

I may agree that even I don't like many of the shows listed, but it's hard to agree that they are all among the 10 worst if they have been on the air for 5 years or more, which half of them are. Clearly enough people liked them to last that long or they would have been cancelled earlier.

I never stated you were making a factual statement, only that it was hard to agree with ALL your opinion/choices based on what I said. I have even agreed that many of them I don't like either.

The Big Bang Theory if only because it is so popular yet so terrible at the same time. It is not the slightest bit funny in any way. I hate to admit that I still get a chuckle or 2 out of this show, even though it is the same gag they have been doing for years. Speaking of "gag" there is a new show that is supposed to be Sheldon as a child. Don't plan on watching that!

I didn't care much for it either. Probably why it was cancelled although amazingly it lasted for 6 Seasons.

These are in my opinion the 10 worst situation comedies ever made 1. Everybody Loves Raymond ( 1996-2005 ) 2. Full House ( 1987-1995 ) 3. Mad About Alice ( 2004 ) 4. The King of Queens ( 1998-2007 ) 5. Harry & the Hendersons ( 1991-1993 ) 6. Hope and Faith ( 2003-2006 ) 7. Moesha ( 1996-2001 ) 8. What I Like About You (2002-2006) 9. Joey ( 2004-2006 ) 10. Webster ( 1983-1989 ) I disagree about Moesha and Full House. Have not seen the rest on this list, but I thought What I Like About You and Everybody Loves Raymond were decent. Webster can get a little bit boring. My least favorite comedy shows have always been Roseanne, Home Improvement, and Married With Children.

I've only seen half and I don't think any of them are the worst ever. 1. Everybody Loves Raymond ( 1996-2005 ) 4. The King of Queens ( 1998-2007 ) 6. Hope and Faith ( 2003-2006 ) 8. What I Like About You (2002-2006) 9. Joey ( 2004-2006 ) 1) The messages were terrible and the cynical jokes could get annoying at times. However, I think it was an overall funny and well-acted show. The last season in particular stood out. 4) It was very formulaic and had some stereotypes, but a lot of episodes had at least 1 clever joke. Jerry Stiller was great. Kevin James was funny depending on the script he had to work with each time. 6) I remember what happened in it... but I don't remember if I liked it or not and I don't know how I would feel if I re-watch it today. The premise (an annoying touble magnet moves in with her sister and her family) was kind of a dead end. How many episodes could go by before the others decide they're done with her? Actually, the 1st season finale and 2nd season premiere showed that... but the show continued. 7) It had the same style of humour and overacting (Jennie Garth in particular was awful) that Nickelodeon and Disney Channel sitcoms have, but it seemed to try to appeal to young adults. I don't think that combination worked. The characters were often too immature. 9) I also remember what happened in it... but I also don't remember if I liked it or not and I also don't know how I would feel if I re-watch it today. It's not a problem with the title character, though. FRIENDS was (of course) about the group's friendship. The way the characters and the actors played off one another... A spin-off with any of the characters wouldn't have work.

Feologild Oakes I will say, Joey was not terrible, it had potential, but it needed the writers from Friends.

WELL, in all the sitcoms where having a baby is a total game changer [friends] or the 'goal' of the sitcom [mad about you] or even just plain 'next step' (i love lucy) all they do is drop the kid off at mom's! what is the point? especially with mad about you? their entire sitcom marriage revolved around them having a godforsaken baby! at least the kids in ELR were there! one more thing... especially in the 70-90's... that is what consisted of a family meal conversation in many households. parents bickering, stupid family members arguing over who invented the lawn [the lawn!] it resonated with many watching. and it also sealed the truthfulness of the parenting cycle: outside it is 1990 inside it is 1954! however the parents were raised were how they raised their kids for the most part. the realism and stupidity of gender roles... ray sits on his ass, entertains his friends with his satellite tv [which his kids rarely watch!] and drinks mini bottles of ginger ale. debra does everything else. no wonder marie is constantly 'criticizing' her. and amazingly allie knows how to cook [not even Robert can make a freaking grilled cheese sandwich!] at a tender age.
