Hard to pick just one.... At the end of the day, have to go with Viva Las Vegas (1964)......thanks, mostly, to his "chemistry" with the incandescent Ann-Margret! However, 'Honorable Mention' would probably go to his last (scripted) film........ Change of Habit (1969). The very idea of Elvis playing a doctor, involved with Mary Tyler Moore the NUN (!), is SO mind-bendingly, fabulously, AWFUL.....that it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to look away !!! The ONLY thing I could imagine being odder, is if Elvis HAD actually decided to play the "John Norman Howard" role in A Star is Born (1976), that ended up going to Kris Kristofferson (rumor was that not only did Streisand want Elvis, but that he wanted to do it......however, Colonel Tom Parker ended up putting the 'kibosh' on it, forever insuring that we would never know just what it might all have been like, had it actually happened)..... SAVE FERRIS

Yes, this is a fantastic film. Strange way to do a documentary (dead Elvis narrates), but once you go along with that this film is a four star winner. Doesn't hold punches either.

So far I've only seen "Jailhouse Rock" and "Flaming Star". I like the latter a little bit better.
