Hillary's been loving his "presidency". It's been the greatest show on Earth, "The Trump Show". Gonna be boring when he's gone. Yep, that is one thing, you are never ever going to top this. It's a car crash, but it was always gonna be. I really like House of Cards, the TV show, but I was watching the latest series and I couldn't help think to myself; "real life politics is now more entertaining than fictional politics." Only in America. C'mon, your guys aren't that bad either: a Prime Minister who calls for an early election only to make the worst possible campaign and ending up with a hung parliament while hard Brexit negotiations are still ahead. The Brexit is also such a decision from you guys - but ok: out is out; no way back - ever...and there are always the likes of Boris and Nigel. As a New Yorker we noted those things decades ago about Trump. Now 300 million fellow countrymen are seeing what was already always there. That's interesting. In my work I have had conversations with quite a few people who live in New Jersey. Every last one of them hate Trump. They say he ruined their city. |

I hated Hillary and Trump, but Hillary was worse. Who else could I vote for? There was not anyone else. I seriously hated all of the candidates. I liked Rubio the best and he was a complete douche. That shows you how bad the candidates were.

Check your own selective memory. Do you know how many times Trump has been sued? How many sexual assault allegations there have been? He's a creep, straight up. Hillary had a ton of baggage because she's been involved with the political machine so long. I agree her candidacy had question marks regarding her history. But it's nothing compared to Trump. He's a liar and a fraud, and continues to make up stories on the fly as he goes. The media points this out and you say people are overreacting. It's unbelievable the hoops you're jumping through to defend the idiot you voted for. Why is his own party practically disowning him at this point? Republican politicians are caving in to pressure from CNN and Bill Maher? Come on, man. |

I am not defending him. I have said many times he is a douche and I do not like him. All I am saying is Hillary was worse. I find it hilarious that he had all of the sexual assault allegations (with no evidence at all and no substance to the claims) and then they were completely forgotten when he won the election. It was another example of the Democratic party putting crap out there to see if it stuck. Both candidates were terrible, but Hillary had a history of fraud, waste, and abuse of the government system. The DNC had a history of corruption and sabotaged their own candidate. Trump was the only choice at that point.

The Democrats didn't make Donald Trump say those things on the bus, or say he was going to date that 10 year old girl during an interview. The guy has always been a creep. And you thought he could run the country?! I'm glad I'm not a Democrat because you're right, they have egg on their face after this past election. But there's no excuse for Trump. He's an awful human being with a track record of filth, and it only got worse every time he opened his mouth on the campaign trail. |

I have to play devil's advocate here for a second. You keep saying Hillary is worse, she would have run this country into the ground....why exactly? She would have essentially continued the policies of her predecessor which, by your own account, means strong unemployment and jobs rates, and a positive economy in general. What about her, specifically, were/are you against? And please don't just say "she has more scandals that I can count," I want to know. Because frankly, looking back at the election with the benefit of hindsight, I find it difficult that someone of your intelligence would say that they'd still vote for Trump over her. I don't mean that in an offensive/belligerent way, I'm just curious as to the reasoning for your stance. Nothing more. |
