Does anyone have the 411 on this? Why did Paula Malcomson leave the show? Was there some friction behind the scenes or something? It's just really odd to write off a central character like this and in my opinion, doing so was a mistake. Abbey's interaction with Ray was one of the biggest draws of the show. She was a good foil for him, a mirror, she helped round him out as a person, made him human and much more interesting a character. I'm just not feeling this change they hit us with? Anyone have the backstory?

Can you say she was written off when she has been in a lot of scenes this season so far and looks like she will be in a lot more? I'm thinking they will drag the mystery out for a while.
More importantly why has Lili Simmons not been naked yet?

I don't know, but I hope they move past the Abbey storyline soon. IMO, it's dragging.

I don't know, but I hope they move past the Abbey storyline soon. IMO, it's dragging. She was very boring. Whining and grating. Only Ray knows what he ever saw in her. Since being killed off she has had more screen time than ever. |
