1. They're getting way too long and complex. 2. I'm always annoyed at having to sit through these and then get all their names repeated in text telling me they present a production by them.

We don't need to have a whole bunch of them before the start of a film. Just give me a 20th Century Fox logo or a Warner Bros. logo and let that be it.

That is a great joke from Family Guy and it's so true.

i saw a movie on Netflix a while back ( i don't even remember which it was) that had 10! freaking logos/intros before the movie started looked like it was an UN-sponsored movie or some shjt like that.

I honestly have never had a problem with them. It's a common thing to gripe about it seems but I actually use that time to get focused on watching as I'll often chat about the previews with friends beforehand.

Anytime there's more than two at the beginning, I sorta want to look at a watch- except I don't wear one. It's somewhat expected for independent films, but when it starts with Paramount or Fox, I always wonder why one (or more) can't be saved until after the end credits.
A side note: there's some hate against Sony Pictures these days, some of which is understandable. But one pet peeve I have is their name added in front of the Columbia/TriStar/Screen Gems logos. That's what the byline is for.

I will say I do get annoyed when there are two logos for the same company. I feel like I've seen that before but can't think of an example. Where you watch one for Paramount, say, and then as soon as it's done another Paramount logo pops up.

What makes all the logos at the beginning of movies these days so annoying to some is that they come on top of the seemingly non- stop parade of previews beforehand. Personally, I find all the previews beforehand more annoying than all the film company logos at the beginning of a given movie.

I've always liked the 20th Century Fox and the one with the tree getting struck by lightning. Also the Universal Studios intros where they do the back to back progressive clips of the Universal logo.
There are getting to be too many though. Just have the lion roar and get on with it.
Then again there is this...which got me fired up for pretty much anything...
