If that's the case you haven't seen enough of his work. Wormhole,Blackhole and DC fan can use RDJ to prove their Morons.

How was Tropic Thunder offensive? It's a comedy. Robert Downey JR character put on blackface, even if its joke tbey still used blackface. I doubt nonwhite actors could play the same role without getting Backlash Somebody missed the whole point of the joke. The joke is on method actors and how desperate and crazy they can go to play a role in a movie, even if it means physical transformation and staying in character till commentary - which is what RDJ's character did. That's where the humor stems from, the fact that an actor would go through a physical transformation to change their skin color to play a role in a supposedly true story is just so ridiculous its hysterical , oh and since you didn't pay attention to the film they do say RDJ's character's transformation for his role in the movie was deemed extremely controversial.

Yeah I have most of those movies they prove my point Hes not that gpod especially not good enough to call a character actor. Johnny has more of a range Tropic Thunder was an offensive film I'm thinking you're not the best judge of acting talent, fella. And yeah Johnny's good but what does he have to do with any of this?

Spot on and the joke worked. Also off the top of my head, White Chicks and True Identity were movies about black guys disguised as white folks and no one said a word. One of Eddie Murphys best known bits was where he went undercover as a white guy. "When black people aren't around white folks just give each other stuff." Dave Chappel also had numerous skits on his brilliant show where he wore "whiteface" Again no one said a word and they was no OUTRAGE.

White Chicks was just an all around crap flick.
