As if the midweek win over Astana wasn't enough, the Celtic fans are dancing with delight again, at the news that Roberts has returned for another year-long loan spell. A massive fan favourite, his return is a tribute to the perseverance of the much maligned Peter Lawwell, the club's CEO and manager Brendan Rodgers. He is compared by some fans, to the legendary Jinky Johnstone and his ability to get to the byeline might get us a place in the last 16 of the CL. I would expect Celtic to be looking for a way of making the move permanent.

Always nice to see an old favourite return. I wish Zola could get some kind of role at Chelsea.

Always nice to see an old favourite return. I wish Zola could get some kind of role at Chelsea. I agree. He would be a great club ambassador. All of Celtic's Lisbon Lions had/have active roles at Parkhead, usually as "meeters and greeters"/hosts to the hospitality box users. That way the club acknowledges the achievement of these legends and gives them a opportunity to feel important..
