Or recently? I don't think anything DCU related is even on TV is it? I really love this Marvel Netflix stuff. It's been awesome. Punisher is coming out soon too, fucking badass! Is DC doing anything with any of their characters on HULU or anything? Honestly if they aren't one of the JL members I can't really name a DC character, so I don't know who they would use, but I'm sure they have somebody they could do a TV spot about. DC doesn't seem to promote non JL members much at all, whereas characters like Punisher and Daredevil and Spidery, and the X-Men are all huge for Marvel without that. What DC characters can they use for TV?

You literally have NOTHING at all in your life but sucking MCU cock do you? How the hell do you convince yourself to even get out of bed each day arf arf? Best things: critics tend to agree Defenders sucks MCU balls. Just looked it up. On Metacritic it's now on 63%! The tomatometer is on 79%! The meter is even more screwed up with TV shows: Most shows are around 90% + even 100%...! Look at it on RT: Defenders is the or one of the lowest rated shows (still better than Ironfist). The RT average rating for Defenders is currently 6.6 (!). Thus: only for MCU-nerds without a life! For the rest of us: Seems like a colossal waste of time unless you really have nothing better to do with your life (in the olden age of TV/documentaries and safe sex, lol).

While not everyone likes the CW shows they had their multi part crossover a little while back.

Last year the Arrowverse had a huge crossover event between all 4 of its shows.

It's doing well so far, we need to wait for more people to finish reviewing it.

IDK really know, I don't watch it at all. 1. I know you didn't watch it, but doesn't mean it didn't happen....unless you practice a variation of solipsism. 2. The Netflix shows don't really interact with anything happening in the films,.

1. I didn't say the crossover didn't happen, I said they aren't in the DCEU.
2. Netflix interacting with the films has nothing to do with anything. My grandmother doesn't come on my business trips either, but we both exist in the same reality. I honestly don't know what you even meant by that. Do you think Daredevil has to meet up with the Avengers or else it doesn't count or something? I don't get it.

The movies have an impact on the shows, but the shows keep things low key enough that nothing that happens there would pick up on the radar of the higher level heroes.

It's perfectly fine that DD or JJ or any of them do things that have nothing to do with crossing over with other characters. The MCU crosses over plenty, and I love that the shows have some freedom.

In all seriousness, someone like The Question or Starman (Jack Knight) or Justice Society of America would be neat.

What DC characters can they use for TV? I can certainly empathize with you. My experience with the MCU, and it's similarly unconnected TV shows, largely mirrors yours. I knew nothing about Dr Strange, Ant Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel or Guardians and had literally never even heard of The Inhumans, The Defenders, Black Fist, or Jessica Jones. I do know The Punisher has had two or three really bad movies. But I didn't see those, either.

My God. I come home from seeing my team get stomped on our home turf and see this.
The Netflix shows didn't start until Daredevil in 2015. That was the same year that Age of Ultron came out, thus making the first Netflix MCU show after Phase 2 was already over.
The DCEU is four movies in.
If they did make a show with other crossover shows then you would say how stupid it was and how they need to focus on the movies.
Not to mention that most of the reaction to The Defenders has been pretty average.

It's ok if you weren't paying attention, but don't blame the comics. I do pay attention to comics and the different is that the reason I don't know anybody outside of maybe a dozen dc JL characters is they spend way too much time focusing on their top two characters. They have a hard time getting anybody else over, or maybe they just don't want to. IDK.
